So..Some know me, or knew me..Some do not. Anyways, dropping what was and now starting something new..I figured I'd start showing off what I've been doing since my departure over at the other place. Okay everyone, I am currently beginning the plans for a new project: Masterpiece Devastator. The project specifications calls for the following: 1) The six Constructicons ( Hook, Long Haul, Scrapper, Mixmaster, Scavenger and Bonecrusher) be represented, fully poseable, fully detailed, as close to their original G1 forms as possible. this also means that their vehicle modes must be as the original, with the exception being that they will be ACCURIZED to reflect their real-life counterparts. 2) The six constructicons merge FLAWLESSLY together to form Devastator. (This means that no tape, gluing together of components or other shoddy tricks are going to be used. …

I like Optimus Prime too much not to change his Alt toy a bit. Most of the things done were pretty easy. This is a work in progress and I have more to do, including moving the seats from forearms and some repainting. So far, the unnecessary plastic has been removed from his legs and the front of the car has been moved to his chest. The hood is now a shield. More to come.

The model being used is a 1/35 British Challenger 2. The alternators used are two sideswipes and Hounds arms. There's a whole whack of armour to cover the sides but at this point, much of it is taped and unfinished. To transform, flip the turret up and ahead. Separate the legs as Sideswipes do. Flip center tracks around to back. They are mounted on Sideswipes old forearms and hands allowing them to flip and swivel. Drop shoulders. Hounds arms will be hidden under the armour and half of the wheel in the center track will be cut off to allow them to hide. Flip chest and head down. The abdome…
