From Autobase Aichi according to a column in the new July 2006 issue of Hyper Hobby, Transformers KISS Play Convoy will be made entirely out of plastic and no die-cast parts. While on the subject of KISS, Lyrian who voices the character of Melissa on the Japanese Transformers KISS radio drama has received a sample of KISS Convoy + Melissa and has added images to her BLOG and e-Hobby has now also added stock images of the figure including a new close-up shot of Melissa and Surf Board weapon. This one comes from purely SPECULATION from Japanese TFans who have been keeping up w/the Transformers KISS Play Radio Drama. Hot Rodimus, who is partnered up with XIAO XIAO, is described as being highly skilled in SPEED & efficient use of 2 GUNS. Now, the only thing in the Alternator/Binaltech line SO FAR that remotely resembles that description is the Ford GT mold which first incarnation is Alternator Mirage. We've seen Convoy Dodge Ram & Auto Looper which will be a very scaled down version of the RX-8 mold (I'm sure ppl will be buying up the 1:24 scale Meister Alternator to Kitbash him) and the only clues we have for Hot Rodimus is the aformentioned description…

Hasbro, Inc. has announced that they will cut 170 jobs from their workforce in an attempt to recover from their sluggish holiday sales. Out of those jobs cut, 82%, or 140 jobs, are coming from their United States-based operations, which "about 55" from their headquarters location, Hasbro spokesman Wayne Charness said. These cuts were necessary "to address both the under-performance in the U.S. and Canada segment, and the need for different skill sets in the company's workforce to be better aligned with a quickly evolving business," Mr. Charness said.
