This one comes from purely SPECULATION from Japanese TFans who have been keeping up w/the Transformers KISS Play Radio Drama. Hot Rodimus, who is partnered up with XIAO XIAO, is described as being highly skilled in SPEED & efficient use of 2 GUNS. Now, the only thing in the Alternator/Binaltech line SO FAR that remotely resembles that description is the Ford GT mold which first incarnation is Alternator Mirage. We've seen Convoy Dodge Ram & Auto Looper which will be a very scaled down version of the RX-8 mold (I'm sure ppl will be buying up the 1:24 scale Meister Alternator to Kitbash him) and the only clues we have for Hot Rodimus is the aformentioned descriptions above. Guess we'lll wait & see if this will bare any fruit & it could be dependent on how well the current KISS Player toy line does. Please discuss freely in a mature manner. We've had enough flaming about Animé lolita girls/TF crossover so just accept it because it's now a reality. Ja na...

so how they incorperating the cons in this drama eh?

Can we discuss the chick in your sig?

I've been talking about this coincidentally on GeeWun Redux since BWTF.com's review of Skids. In the review the BT story writer mentions that Hot Rod was his next bot to write for after Ginrai. Hot Rod was going to be the GT. I hope he has a new head atleast. Gawd.

Hey Mirage has a good headscupt but as Hotrod not a chance. Weather or not Hotrod "gets a head" is yet to be seen.

Reguarding the Alt line I love the look of Mirage but personally I'd prefer a new mold altogether. The GT40 would be awsome as another Stunticon. Besides Deadend is getting lonely on my shelf and all Swindle and Shockblast do is beat on him and send him to do meaningless erends. Deadend needs a new playmate me thinks.

Hot Rod as a Ford GT would work quite well actually.  Red with yellow racing stripes...

hmmm well i will wait for pics but im sure if they did make him id buy him

GTO, GT and GT40 are all different cars.  Mirage is a GT.  When the subject said it was a GTO, I figured it was a new mold. Oh well :-(  Just fyi:

The  GTO is definately not a ford (it's a pontiac )  The GT40 is a  classic ford supercar made in england that was able to best farrari.  And the GT is a modern update on the original GT40.

Indeed it would work. I bet kissy little girls would be all over that, too.

the head of Tracks would work better for Rodimus more than any other.

I dont think Tracks looks like Hotrod at all. Skids helmet has more in common.
