Not to get dorky on you, but when Bumblebee says "I guess that's why they call him ULTRA Magnus" his comment makes more sense if "Ultra" is (at least part of) his name rather than his rank. Considering that Autobots get their "names" in boot camp.

This was exactly my train-o-thought too Pete. Plus his bio states he is the most powerful Autobot ever made (or something to that equivalent). Which would make total sense. And I'd like to see Ultra Magnus take on some 'Cons straight up and see him OWN them all. Not get shot by surprise by Starscream (who is stated at being second to only Megatron).

 

 

This makes me think maybe Strika is gonna make a pull for leadership of the 'Cons in Megs & Screamer's absence. That would be interesting to see, plus with Lugnut's loyalties being pulled - for his woman or his leader...DUN DUN DUNNNN!
