I also hope Red Alert is Arcee under a new name. She only got 1 episode and they even brought back Susan Blu to voice her. Arcee needs to come back dammit!

IIRC Susan Blu is the voice director for Animated, so she was already available.

Hot Shot? Wasn't he just a combination of Bumblebee and Hot Rod back in armada? Now that they're both in animated, it will be interesting to see how Hot Shot's persona will be handled. And will he come with JaAm?

I wanna see the toys. Animated, even though it does have some merit in it's writing, craps on the characters they rehash. The show just isn't doing it for me, which is sad because it has potential to be one of the best TF series out there.

 

I'd prefer if they just introduced new characters all together, with revisited characters worked into the time stream either furthering or elaborating on at least a semblance of there scource material.

 

I know, "geewun..." and all that crap, but not for nothing, these are G1 properties(and some beast era), so is it to much to ask that they at least try and do it right!?!

Voice director eh? Cool. But I wish Arcee would come back anyway. Just because I'm hopelessly addicted to the animated style and want to see a toy of her as well. :P

Uh...what, exactly, are they not doing right? Keeping in mind that they're creating a show for a young demographic and all that entails, I think Animated is consistantly one of the strongest pieces of official fiction this franchise has ever had.
