This has probably been discussed before, but I was curious what people here thought of the Star Wars transformers. When I first saw them, I thought they were kind of ridiculous -- toys made for the sake of marketing more than anything else. I finally bought one when I found the Millennium Falcon set (with 2 exclusive titanium ships) on clearance at Walmart, and I was surprised how much I liked it. On the one hand, it's a ludicrous idea, but I can't help but admire how they managed to get everything to fit together, and how the robot forms do a pretty good job of resembling their movie counterparts. I bought a few more tonight that I'm not quite as impressed with. I g…

I am talking about rarest as in never again reissued or reproduced. I have RID Bruticus, the 3-headed dog, not the combiner, RID Megatron Megabolt and RID Air attack Optimus Primal ape thing. All three of them were supposed to be in beastwars but didn't make it so they put them in RID. None of them have been reissued or recolored, so they are quite rare.

Okay. My MP Grimlock arrived from BBTS about an hour and a half ago, and aside from getting on the computer to type this, I haven't been able to put him down. He's awesome. For an MP, his transformation is as basic as your standard deluxe/voyager range mainline TF. His extra pieces are pretty cool (love the waiter feature). The only thing I don't like is the foot articulation in robot mode. Not as good as some of the other MP figs, but better than G1/Classics/Animated Grimlock's feet articulation. Of course he's an MP, so that's expected that'd it be as good as engineering allows it to be. His light up feature in his head is kind of "meh" IMO. Nothing sp…

I was just wondering, I love the Transformers toys. And I have seen the new Star Wars Transformers toys but I was just wondering, wouldn't it be cool for Transformers to have some new Star Trek Transformers toys? Like a Autobot Transforming into the Enterprise-E? or something like that? I think that would be sweet if they did something like that, and creative as well.

Hi, I'm new here, so I'm not positive this is the right place for this, but I thought everyone would like to know. I read on another board about someone getting their 6" Titaniums at Target for 5 bucks, so I ran and checked it out on my lunch break. Sure enough, they're marked $15 on the aisle, but they ring up for $4.99. After all the horror stories I heard about the Megatron, I didn't want to pay $15, but Ops and Megs both for $10 was cheap enough for me to justify.

"Neither figure falls into the must-buy category, though I have no regrets about Onslaught and many about Powerglide. Onslaught is a nice, menacing toy, if not a little plain, and has excellent play value. Powerglide needs major changes to be a fun toy that's not awkward looking. I love the idea of a plane transformer that does not have wings sticking out, but this toy feels incomplete and too much a slave to the original design." I just looked at the schematics off fantofan scans. I'm falling for this thing already. However, I was quickly reminded of that size of T.H.S. at the size comparison screen... Oh that just made me sad. (sigh) but I guess it can be small and cool at the same time. What do you guys think? Is this awesomest figure just too small?

so i picked this guy up last night at walmart, and i'm pleasantly surprised got him out of the box after many pointless twist ties, the kibble is obviously excessive but surprisingly does little hindering of poseability, and he looks rather menacing, he has a hidden button on his keester for another sound feature besides his Mech-alive, he's not extremely movie-accurate but still fun getting into jet mode can be a hassle, you'll definitely want to refer to the instructions a few times but the payoff is well worth it, he's huge, the kibble can be annoying but it manages to come together well, this may be the most realistic blackbird TF we'll ever get …
