BTW, instead of super glue, you may want to try something that I've been using that's made by Devcon: Plastic Welder. It's an epoxy-like adhesive that I've found to be more resillient thatn super glue, and a lot stronger too. Usually, I buy it at my local Wal-Mart.

Will do! I looked around, but didn't find much in the way of plastic adhesive. I'll ask about it with an associate there. :D

I've been trying to add to your comedic genius with Blitzwing but my camera and the lighting won't cooperate. I basically have him on his knee's with his hands over the top of his helmet yelling something to the effect of "You Kant Haff my helmut, it's mine!" and/or "Ok enuffz vis zee modifications, your turn, let's see how you like it!" holding a screw driver and looking dead on at you/the camera"

 

Again, this seems funny in my head...

 

And on a unrelated/semi related note: Whilst modding dear old Blitzy, I was looking at Silverbolt and noticed he has a rubber nose cone, whereas Blitzwing has a solid/rigid nose cone. Odd, seeing as Blitz is aimed* at younger kids and Silverbolt is aimed at older kids(or so I would think..).

 

*Albeit using the term "aimed at kids" while talking about pointed devices is kinda funny in this context, it could also kinda lead to issues with toys hanging from eye sockets!

I still haven't managed to do the first wing mod on my Bliztwing because not only was Soundwave not up to the subdual task, but Grimmy wouldn't sit on Blitzy long enough for us to sedate him.

 

I may have to resort to extreme measures.

 

I might also have to post an anti-guide of how things can go horribly wrong if you don't read Matt's steps closely.

The picture ideas made me laugh. If you get the lighting to cooperate, definitely post them here. :D

 

As for the nose cone... That's easy! Today's younger kids are fine with the hard nosecones, but we violent originals were trained on the rubber ones. That's also probably why the MP Prime's released outside of Japan always have shorter smokestacks.

The nosecone "quirk" likely has to do with Blitzwing's folding in for tank and robot modes, whereas Silverbolt's is essentially kibble. And Prowl's a motorbike in :animated , isn't he? :tfhuh Note to self: do not trust that Bee. :tflaugh

 

And once I do get Blitzy and do these, Unicron may have to get involved! (awfully hard to move with the weight of a planet on your back) Loved the Snarl/Slag shunning Sunstreaker pic! :tfgrin

I think I do like the Blitzwang cannon-mode better, though. Plus I don't think it requires any modding/cannibalizing.
