  1. They did that for years. Hasbro opted to start shipping them in robot mode when they were seeing a better reaction to the figures in bot mode, than when in the alternate modes.
  2. Nice! They're fun little kits. I think I tried cleaning out BBTS when they had them on a clearance sale. :tflaugh (just a warning, though. some sockets don't like to keep ahold of the balljoints. I built a little mini-custom, and it's limbs kept popping out of the sockets. XD )
  3. Yay! Welcome to the geneblock addiction! :thumb Who's carrying them, these days?

I use Intermetro shelving components for my collection: http://www.containerstore.com/shop/shelvingSale/interMetroreg/bestSellingSolutions The only thing is I can't seem to get the pipe sleeves to properly grip to get all the shelves to appear level. :( but that's what holds the majority of my collection.
  5. They're in a Display box like the Lego & Mega Bloks packs, though I think it might depend on store. The Target near by has started hanging Lego/Mega Bloks blindpacks on pegs.
  6. Yesterday's haul turned out to be a good one! Target: Cyberverse Commander: Ultra Magnus Dreadwind Wal-Mart: Kreon Micro-Change: Scorponok Crankstart Sunstorm Waspinator Cyberverse Legion: Flamewar Hyperspeed Wheeljack Cyberverse Commander: Nightwatch Optimus Prime Lego Hero Factory: XT-4 Thornaxx
  7. Here's my BBTS pile o' loot haul. Kabaya Gum Plus Transformers DX Fortress Maximus Series - Box of 5 Transformers Prime Arms Micron - Bag of 10 Pieces AMW01 Arms Micron A AMW02 Arms Micron B AMW03 Arms Micron C AMW04 Arms Micron Shell 2 AMW05 Arms Micron Baro 2 AMW06 Arms Micron Jiro 2
  8. Peaugh tweeted that one of the Targets he frequents got rid of Transformers. To hear this Wal-Mart manager saying it, yikes. Not looking good for Transformers. I'm not sure how I feel about it, off hand. Right now, I'm kind of fine with it. I could stand to give collecting Transformers a break, as I've been getting into a (very lazy) mindset of going through my bins, sorting through the Transformers, and thinning out the collection a bit. It wouldn't really give my wallet much of a break, as I have plenty of other things that I'd still collect, though. :tflaugh
  9. Glad you didn't detail through the Autobot symbol, I've seen some other folks that's done that while detailing, and just makes it look kinda sloppy.
  10. The local Wal-Marts here suck at price matching. There's three Wal-Marts in the area, they won't even price match each other.
  11. or worse...he stepped on one! :argh :eek I love that Kre-o is going more to play theme builds than figure building, too. The only thing is, the more I see of the Micro Change Kreons, the less I'm excited about them. I'm not exactly sure why. I'll still buy them, though! Anywho, as for the price: after Target's little snafu in charging $30 for DOTM Nitro Bee, I'm just relieved they're not that much. (Though, I do hate being old enough to remember when $15 got you a really nice chunky hunk of plastic Beast Wars figure.)
  12. After a good dentist visit, walked over to Toys R Us and Target. Picked up: @ Toys R Us: Wiifit cover (clearanced out at $2.) Adventure Time B-MO figure (Not sure why. I've only seen like two episodes of Adventure Time, but the anim gifs on Tumblr made me a fan of the character, I guess.) @Target: Transformers Fall of Cybertron Shockwave Lego Ninjago Samurai X Mech Met with a friend, and headed over to Best Buy. Ended up picking up a Logitech G330 headset, since my Rosetta Stone headset's mic went out. Then went over to Burger King and got to play with their new Coca Cola Freestyle machine. Had Coca Cola Orange, Mello-Yello Peach, and Barq's Vanilla! I want a Freestyle machine for my apartment.
  13. Agreed. I had to drive up there from Dallas for work. Not much around. Lawton or OKC? Have family around Lawton, but it's been a few years since I've been up there. Fine to visit for a day*, but I don't think I could get by living there for any length of time. Though, I did managed to pull in a few good hauls, outside of the easy to find releases, from Lawton: Primus w/ Unicron head, MP Starscream, and Legends Wheelie. :tflaugh (*Only due to aforementioned family.)
  14. Here's my haul for the day! Toys R Us: Fall of Cybertron Jazz Kre-o Cycle Chase Kre-o Decepticon Ambush Hero Factory Stringer
  15. It's not worth a serious mention, as they didn't. If they did, it'd be common knowledge by now. :tflaugh As for the Super Shoguns, seems kinda neat, but I wonder what makes these different from the Japanese Vinyl statues released during the 90s?
  16. Small haul for today. Wasn't actually gonna buy any toys, but I was within budget for the shopping trip, so I picked them up. Cyberverse Legions Evac Cyberverse Legions Breakdown
  17. Small haul, today. Ran by Toys R Us to find some figures for a friend. Was a no go, but managed to spot & score a Cyberverse Ironhide. :D
  18. Woohoo. I finally found some new toys. Toys R Us: Rescue Bots Blades & Halo Minimates Series 4: Master Chief & Cortana Target: TFP: Knockout & Hot Shot Lego Minifigures x3.
  19. I love that thing. Just don't like the hole in the chest, seems counter productive to having a giant armored suit. Thats why when I get one, I'm going to somehow get Cap's shield over it. It'll look sweet as a chestplate. Not sure how Cap'n America's Shields are done for the toyline, but might they be able to just hook over the edge? I'd love to see how it looks, too. Very tempted to get Cap'n America and Ironman mechs if I see 'em. The shield thing might just push me over the edge. :tflaugh
  20. So, I went to Target and finally found new TFs! After month or so of looking, I found Prime Arcee. :D Also found the biggest WTF I'd even seen at Target. DOTM Deluxes for $30. (They had 3 Nitro Bees, both pegs marked with $30 tag. Price Scanned to confirm, and called over a guy with a price gun to see if he knew what was going on.)
  21. :redface Never personally. I wanted to buy stuff from them for years, but the feedback I'd find each time I'd be tempted to place an order would scare/chase me away.
  22. Prime Soundwave sure keeps finding ways to endear himself to me. :tflaugh When I first bought him a while back, he quickly made friends: and kept those smaller from harm: (I suspect Soundwave will kill me in my sleep for this photo.) and then, after this struggle with Prime: (which proves he's not much a rock n roll fella, but he gets the picture done. Such a good sport.) Soundwave proves, he was made to rock.
  23. Not much of a action pose, but more of "Did anyone know he could do this?" TFP Cyberverse Commander Starscream
  24. My haul! Finally new Transformers in stores! Toys R Us: Deluxe / Revealers: Wheeljack Soundwave Cyberverse Legion: Arcee Cliffjumper Vehicon Botshots: Optimus Prime Starscream
