In all fairness, I watched a few G1 episodes last night that I hadn't seen since the 80's, and... um. wow.

Never rewatch G1 cartoons if you want to retain that happy nostalgic feeling.

No kidding. It's like I had Jedi force powers or something, because I could remember the suckiness right before it was about to happen. Like when I was watching "Money Is Everything" I was like "...oh sh!t they're going to have a ghey romantic dance scene aren't they" and NOOOO it happened right then.

 

BTW Susan Blu really sucks as an actress.

I was trying to remember why I'd liked season 3 so much. My faith had been shaken by YouTube'ing "The Ultimate Weapon" and I wanted to see if there was actually some coolness there, or if I'd just been young and obsessed.

I mean, really, those were some sh*tty episodes. It's like the wheels totally came off and the stories started making no sense at all.
