In fact I started as a big fan of Optimus Prime & Autobots when I first knew Transformers via G1 cartoon, but BW/BM changed my perspective on Transformers myths forever. I'm reluctant to accept the fact that Cybertron turned into Saladtron in the name of the wicked Oracle and technorganic stuffs, and I always regards Lord Megatron* as the savior of the Cybertronian race rather than the Autobots.

 

*Lord Megatron :: Yeah, I keep thinking that Megatron deserves that title, just to be equal to Autobots' Prime rank.

Not-So-Secret Shame: I think the ending of BM is brilliant and the show is the most fully-realized TF story ever told. BM is the only TF show that really thought about the concept of transformation and did something with it.

 

For a secret shame confession I'd mention that I cried at the end of Beast Machines, but I think I already said that.

 

I guess I'm just moved by self-sacrifice (and no it doesn't count if you just come back to life again later. Sorry, Optimus Prime (and Jesus)

Same. I've always kind of rooted for the bad guys, but BM was the first show where I actually agreed with the aims of Megs and Co. In principal at least.
