What's with this?

 

+ Its not confirmed what Perceptor transforms into, but he does have the microscope bazooka shoulder cannon. They don't mass shift. Possibly, he'll still transform into a microscope or maybe a telescope.

 

 

It's just a toy. Who cares about mass shifting? (I'm not complaining but the reasoning is kind of silly, especially since Universe is just a line of toys with no other media affiliations.)

IIRC Perceptor's slated to be an Animated toy, which means if his toy turns into a microscope he'll have to in the show (even if he doesn't appear in the show he still can't, as mass shifting seems to run contrary to Animated's aesthetic).

If he was a Universe figure, I'd say make him a mircoscope, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

 

 

Since the original toy could be made into a kind of tank, he could always be that in either Animated or Universe. Perceptor could also have a second mode as a ground based, mobile space observation platform.

I'm sure they could sneak that in. As a character he could be a large laser platform, as a toy he could secretly be microscope.

i mean honestly, thats about as fail as you can farging get. 25TH ANNIVERSARY MEANS 25 fargING YEARS Bob Saget!!!!

 

I think it should be made clear that its 25 years of transformers not 25 years since G1... and sadly hotshot has been thier for a fair bit since 2000 if you count RiD and he is rather popular with the kids

OK, for all you complaining about Hot Shot. He is but one of the 25th anniversary universe figures coming out. 25th anniversary is going to encompass ALL lines, and will likely see multiple figures from each line. Armada Hot Shot makes sense for the Armadaverse, simply because his original figure was the absolute worst of all the toys and was one of the most popular characters. Bear in mind that Hot Shot and the Classics 2.0 were all that has been revealed for 25th anniversary so far, we've still got Beast Wars, Beast Machines, RID, Energon, Cybertron, etc. etc. etc.

 

 

So feck off if Hot Shot wasn't YOUR childhood, I thought this was something to be celebrated by *all* fans throughout the history of 25 years.

I wrote Universe Galvatron off as soon as I saw his alt mode. Earth tank FTL, this is Galvatron we're talking about. (JMO)

To be honest, nothing about Galvatron really made me like him. Alt-mode choice, robot mode, size...

 

Hell, a futuristic space cannon would work better for me. But incorperating his signature cannon onto an Earth tank comes out... awkward, at best.
