To be honest, I'd settle for a rerelease of Scourge for RiD... I never managed to find it, and wanted it so very badly.

And let's not forget it was a space cannon with treads...otherwise known as a "tank". The change in alt. mode is less than drastic, IMO.

 

You forget the lack of treads in the cartoon.

 

Which is what most people think when they think Galvatron.

But reading both panel discussion, Where is my Cyclonus Universe figure(minus that stupid targetmaster figure) I don't want a G1 remold, I want a whole new figure!

 

As to the no Sixshot for universe, how hard is it to take the original figure and add articulation to it.... that's all I want.

P.S. what bothers me about Universe Galvatron's alt mode isn't so much the tanky-ness of it as the Earthy-ness of it. He's supposed to be all EXTREEM and from space and stuff.

Anyhow, I don't mind Hotshot. It kind of makes sense, to me.

 

You have Optimus Prime representing G1/G2, Cheetor representing the Beast Era, and Hot Shot representing the Unicron Trilogy.

 

Not to mention, both Cheetor and Hotshot(in Armada at least, nearly) became successors to each series Optimus.

I would have preferred a Voyager Galvatron, but the Deluxe is ok. I'll display him with my Classics Battle Pack Prime and Megs.

 

Energon Megatron > Universe Galvatron though, JMO.
