I'd have to go Slamdance. He combines everything I love in Transformers: Cassettes, combiners, and jet/tank alt-modes. Shame he has next to no shoulder articulation.

If that's not allowed, Bruticus. I liked the Combaticons a lot individually, and Bruticus is one of the cooler looking gestalts.

I don't generally answer these but if I had to name favorites, it'd probably be the Combaticons (because I liked their amount of personality, especially Swindle) or the Terrorcons (because I had that two-headed monster guy, Hun-Grrr).

Liokaiser, hands down. Predaking and Devastator are honorable mentions.

i've been wanting a leokaiser pretty bad because he looks kick ass, but i can't even afford the KO on ebay >_> not that i'd buy it mind you, after picking up a few KO gestalt sets i'm pretty much steering clear of them unless i can get them for a little over $5. so, seeing as how i can't comment on leokaiser, i'm going to go with the old favorite that is Devastator. i wish some of the other teams where made up of 6 guys, it just seems really cool to me and has always been a favorite of mine, of course it helps that devastator was the only gestalt i ever completed (i had half of computron, but never got any farther).

For G1 my favourite combiner would have to be Half-Track - mostly because of his role as "GalvaPhil" in the SpaceBridge 2000 As Cybertron Turns photocomic series (go ahead and read it if you have a few hours to spare, it's bloody hilarious). :)

My favourite G1 gestalt - no contest here, Lio Kaiser.

I like motormaster, purely because he's a semi truck that both pieces of change into a robot. (including the trailer)

Liokaiser, hands down. Predaking and Devastator are honorable mentions.

:thumb Well that pretty much sums up my opinion.

we talkin G1 only? if were just looking at G1 id say bruticus but over all its eather JRX/railracer or GodFireConvoy/OmagaPrime

i'm gonna go witha few here

G1 - I love the seacons...i don't know why maybe the 6th member or maybe cause he's just a bad ass

BW - Magnaboss was awesome

RiD - Railracer... because I have a strange fascination with trains and I STILL CANT FIND ONE (hint hint)

Railracer hands down! hon mention to menasor and predaking.
