Autobots:

Optimus: 18 Wheeler

Hot Rod or Rodimus (since theres a copyright problem): Good looking sports car, possibly a viper.

Arcee: I like the bike idea for her. Kawasaki!!!

Wheeljack: I loved his old car mode.

Ratchet: A better looking ambulance helicopter would be in order.

Ironhide: Perhaps a volkswagon?

Prowl: Since he's so vital, love the energon version, but needs a better design in robot mode.

Decepticons:

Megatron: Perhaps the german Blitzkerg, (however you spell it)

Starscream: Jet, perhaps a better design than the usual f-16.

Soundwave: Perhaps a Radar carrier. of course with added mini bots.

Astrotrain: Same version

Blitzwing: He needs to be the same too

Sixshot: He's just pure evil.

Devastator: I don't care if he's made up of a team, Autobots against the odds is good.

Like I said, Evil against Good odds are good to have. And have the Autobots some sort of gimmick. Anythings good.

this was my first topic. Wow, I love myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GenerationZero.......NICE FREAKING SIG!!! LMAO!! ROFL!!!

Thanks... I think it's a curse though... nobody ever replies to what I have to say, they just love the sig! lol Oh well... it's my own fault, I guess.

please don't change that sig, everytime i see it it makes me laugh

I don't think any current versions of the Alts will make it into the movie. They may be redone a la Smokescreen GT, but think about it from a profit perspective: Why have all (or most) of the movie characters be exactly like toys that will be 2 years old by the time it's released? The original movie was in large part a sales gimmik. How many new characters were debuted there? eight or more? I would say that none of the curren alt characters will be the core 7 in the movie unless they are completely redone for it (no repaints).

Does anyone worry that this movie will turn out as horribly as the Hulk? Or do you expect the CGI to be good, like in Spider-Man? It's hard to imagine a robot the size of a car looking realisitc, especially when it interacts with people.

I'm going to take a wild guess.

Not really. I mean if they hire an animation studio that really knows what they're doing, and I mean an animation studio that doesn't try to slap things together and force it to work, then it should be fine. :)

I'm guessing that if Marvel studios is the one that's going to be hired to do this then it could work.

Dreamwaves and Paramount are doing this arn't thay?

If it is Paramount, then I'm confident. They've done excellent work in CG for Star Trek and such.

Unfortunately, that's not necesserily a guarantee. But we'll see what happens....

Paramount has the distribution for existing media (the sunbow, mainframe stuff) the contract that used to be held by rhino
