Why does everyone seem to want Soundwave to suck? Is it cuz he's unkrazimatic?

I've always found the idea of Soundwave transforming into a digital mp3 player amusing. :tflaugh Perhaps an Ipod with the added ability to record audio.

i dont want soundwave to suck i want him to be an awsome character in the next movie,

and i never liked the idea to make movie characters have the same alt mode as they had in g1 i just think thats unorginal

my idea for soundwave is for him to be a satelite dish

it would be hard to make soundwave a good character period. cause what will he really be? he can't be any kind of home electronic cause that would be kind of dumb.

Regardless of if you intend it or not, if you want Soundwave to be any sort of hand held electronic device in the next movie then you do want him to suck.

Either some sort of surveillance van or a F-117 stealth bomber/fighter. Either one is fine with me, and IMO both modes can do the character justice in a live-action movie.

Please though, can we stop with the "he should be a tape recorder/mp3 player/iPod" posts? The first movie should be all the proof you need that those types of alternate modes are out of the question for Soundwave if he were to appear in any of the live-action films.

Yeah, you're right. But I don't want Soundwave to suck. I like how he displays almost no emotion and is Megatron's most loyal servant. A good vehicle form, like the surveillance van (mentioned above) seem to fit well with a movie incarnation.
