That took me three minutes. It's not that hard.

*see post below*

and just as Devastator is about to deliver this big blow to Prime, five laser blasts hit him, and then the smoke is followed to the smoking barrels of the Dinobots weapons. Battle ensues, Autobots win, movie ends.

Never become a screenwriter, you great big hack. :P

Dork.

I'm just following you're typical action flick power moment where the tide turns and the good guys start winning. Like when Aragorn came with those ghost soldiers in Return of the King.

And don't call me a hack.

Ah yes, the most hackish part of the whole trilogy where a crummy deus ex machina just turned the story around because they were too lazy to think of something better? Yeah, I remember that.

You hack :P

Dude. What is your issue???

I'm just sick and tired of those "look they improbably showed up at the last second to save the day" endings.

In any case (as someone stated before) the ghost army showing up at the Pellenor fields was not in Tolkien's book (and besides even if it were, he wrote that book nearly a hundred years ago, so he wouldn't have been a hack since the cliché hadn't developed at that point).

I can't believe I'm arguing about Lord of the Rings :redface

I especially can't believe I'm arguing about Lord of the Rings on a Transformers website :redface :redface

Let's stop before we turn into this guy:

I think that the idea of them being built on earth as a last ditch effort to destroy Devastator would be the better option, The Autobots are being hammered, they are forced to retreat. They are in hiding building the Dinobots they recieve radio TV and internet news and military transmissions all saying "WHERE ARE OUR FREINDS IN OUR TIME OF NEED?" The autobots all appear as 2 decepticons are on a rampage downtown the Decpticons freeze in terror as Monsters walk up the road towards them "Me Grimlock say, Dinobots Transform and kick ass!"

Grimlock should be a fluffer with a towel dispenser on his chest in the sequel.

Ah well. In that case, it would have been much easier (not to mention nicer) to say something like "Oh. Not that type of story ending again. I hate that. Let's think of something different.", instead of calling me a hack.

Besides. I never claimed to be writing the script. It was just one option for a movie. But freefall666's idea is also good.

masterminicon, never talk any insult I dish out on the internet at face value. It usually means I'm playing with you

I prefer they not do the "Dinobots" at all. The damn things had to have stories made up for them only because Hasbro really REALLY wanted to heavily market the toys, which they knew kids would go ape-sh!t for. The only one who actually had any "character development" (especially in the comics) was Grimlock. I'd accept a Conan-style Grimlock as some kind of badass military or heavy construction vehicle, but aside from that no Dinos. We don't need the other four drooling morons to wander around acting stupid for cheap comic relief.

Oh. My bad.

Either go with they came millions of years ago (to fight Shockwave!)... Heres some brainstorming, maybe Shockwave fiddled with

Megatron's navigation systems resullting in him getting lost and trapped under the ice?

In that case I think Grimlock is enough. A whole unit of Dinobots might be overkill.

That or bring in Grimlock as some kind of really big Cybertronian tank. He could be one of those reinforcements thats only called in when there is no other viable option and disguise isn't particularly important.

heh?

An you would be having Games Workshop sueing Hasbro and the movie company over their Intellectual Property. I serious doubt that!

As to having the Dinobots in the movie.... unless they were the Dynabots from the comics, as miltary vehicles I can see it... but not as robotic dinosaurs.... I would start imaging MechaGodzilla or some Blot on screen.... Maybe have Grimlock a repaint of Brawl/davastator.

But as to the leadership of the Decepticons-

MY hope is for Galvatron to come looking for megatron remains!
