first pic of MP05 Megatron

Aside from the skinny looking legs, which is understandable when you consider the gun mode, MP Megs is looking very good. Wonder how he'll transform.

I don't think his arms are quite as skinny as they might appear... the right one in particular

That's his left arm. The right arm has the cannon on top.

Couldn't help myself at pointing that out :redface

Anyway, you do have a point CP. From that angle, the arms do look like they might be decent. Well, I'll know when I get it.

Did a quick photoshop colour for everyone: :)

I like it. This does fall in line with the Masterpiece series. It really is a larger, better version of the original toy. He has no trigger-crotch and good articulation.

yes thank you :tfgrin

I highlighted the right arm to show you what I was talking about. I also pointed out the thickness of the left arm to indicate that it's pretty normal-looking.

To the skinny leg haters i think you will find theres a lil bit of optical illusion going on there... right leg(his right) is side on and you cant see the thickness.... and his left leg is strait on so you cant see the depth of it... i reckon when we see some better angles those legs will seem to bulk out a lil more... im not talking heeeeaps but enough to make him a bit more proportionate.

Oww and that other scratchbuilt looking one... looks ths02 sized... man that would be nice to have him(or similar) as a ths03!!!

I would be interested in a THS G1 Megatron.

That's bigger than THS. The first two Convoys are tiny as Sh*t.

Are you really interested in a THS G1 Megs or are you just typing that for fun, Pete?

PERFECT. I friggin' love it. This is actually one of the first protos that instantly wowed me, along with MP-01. Most others, including 03, I'm kind of meh about until I see them painted.

I honestly don't care if they beef him up or not. I like the way it is now, and G1 Megs was never a real beefcake in the first place. I always thought of him as this crusty, cranky old man.

And to the die-cast doubters, he has panels on his calves and forearms similar to T!T Megs, that look like they might be cast when we get to the actual test shot phase.

looks to be as good as prime.
