what's this image? it's at the bottom of the same post. Looks scratch built, but shows of the transformation pretty well.

This looks like the start of what the Classics line Megs should have been. :thumb

Now for the MP Megs, well I like what I see so far. There is room for a little improvement of course, but mainley I hoping for him to be mostly diecast like prime. For the most part though I am very happy with what I see and am putting aside pennies for him now!!!

Any chance he'll get a sudden make over like Screamer...I like em but those legs are thinner than I hoped for. Man. Each MP mold has a different theme. Toon accurate, Jet accurate and now toy accurate + articulation.

anyone have a decent pic of G1 Megatron's original G1 box art? i think that the MP looks a lot like it except for the trigger crotch.

oh wait, BBTS conviently has it on their pre-order page.

My first impression was he looks fragile. He looks very thin and I'm worried he can't pose his arm with that huge ass (though very kick ass) cannon on it.

I do admit though, that PS'd version really helps add some substinance to him. I'm not going to believe that's going to be his final color scheme until we see an official one. TakTom changed Starscream's so it's very possible they'll change Megatrons.

I'll probably never get this since it won't ever see an official release here in America. That $100 buck price tag will keep me away.

Did a quick photoshop colour for everyone: :)

at first i was a bit discouraged over how "lanky" he looked but that PS makes him look a lot better :thumb

also, anyone notice how the prototype seems to be made entirely out of plastic?

I believe the MP-01 proto they showed in 2003 was as well.

Not that that means anything; they may well go all-plastic for him. Metal is only a good thing if it makes the figure more durable, not less....

NICE! That makes me like the mold a lot more. Not buy-it-if-I-have-to-get-an-open-and-tampered-with-one like it, but close. :tflaugh

Excellent job!

If I get him Alt Prime will be replaced by 20th Prime again.

Love the Photoshop work on it.

Definitely like it a lot if it's something close to that or the original toy.

It's just... I don't... I can't... I think I like Screamer better as Prime's Adversary on this one. Megs looks like he's gonna tip over.

We'll never know How sturdy the toy is till we own it.....then again, it does look like he's held up by clear stands....?
