Quoted again for emphasis. I am all about the G1 accuracy, but I still think that they could and probably will beef this guy up a bit, just so they don't have the same complaints as w/ MP SS.

 

That Photoshop is fantastic. However, I am not going to get worked up over a PS like I did w/ SS since all that did was lead to disappointment and misery when they showed the real colors. Excellent job on the PS though.

Well I look at it this way... he's a realistic gun, which is what G1 Megs was. The only color they added to the original toy was red in some places on the robot mode. So I see no reason at all why his color scheme wouldn't be spot on G1 accurate.

no more crotch trigger! now it resides in his legs!

That is a pretty nice way to put the trigger away without making it stay on his crotch.

 

As for his skinny legs and arms, while I'd like him to be beefier, I don't want a brick like handle that would hinder me holding him. Also, the arms while also skinny...well, for asthetic reasons they've got to fit onto him alt mode somehow.

well personnaly i think that the upper arms are too slim as well as the entire legs.... the only reason i think is that they,ve sacrificed the robot mode so to have the best alt mode possible..... but the rest looks nice... even the gun even if it,s a bit out of proportion.... i give it a 7.5/10 at this point..... but like everybody says it will change a bit ....

I don't think his arms are quite as skinny as they might appear... the right one in particular

To be honest, looking at the lower legs, they don't that skinny either.

I wonder if megs is too big for a "Oh, how it pains me to do this" pose with MP03?

yeah, those legs look weak. probably be too later, but they should make then thicker. whatever, i'll still get him, at the most, can always get a stand to help him out.

Being that its only the prototype I think he looks pretty freakin sweet! And if its the final product I would be very happy with it as well. Very cool and a great tribute to the master of evil, the mighty Megatron.
