Yes, I can't imagine Takara leaving the trigger exposed like that, especially on a Masterpiece figure.

:wtf What does that mean?

It means that Takara's efforts to get rid of Megatron's crotch trigger while remaining G1-accurate in alt mode are being met with snorts of derision.

Nah! In MikePrime's defense, I think he was refering to the fact that you might expect a Masterpiece class figure to incorporate mechanisms to disguise or cover up as much alt mode kibble as possible while in bot mode. I think he was refering more to the expectations of the Masterpiece line than trying to make a statement. I don't think anyone would have a serious problem with this fig not being 100% G1 toy accurate. Especially in the trigger/crotch area. I could be wrong. Wait and see.

I don't get doing the autobots. Thats what alts are for, so I'm not sure how they would differ. The last thing I need is a Meister V2. The only thing I think that I would be interested in is if they could get the licenses for the cars they current aren't getting. We've been lucky that the TF's that are most appropriate for MP treatment are still current (COE truck, gun, F-15).

You'll notice they haven't done any of the seakers as alts. I don't think this is an accident as they've been waiting on the call on US seekers. Of course, they will do twenty primes before they finish any line so, that doesn't count.

:wtf Rodimus?

I'm hoping for Galvatron! :thumb

It's obvious. I just find it very unlikely that they would allow the trigger to remain exposed like that on a Masterpiece Transformer.

To me it's only kibble if it sticks out or protrudes awkwardly. If it lays flat against a flat surface it's okay IMO.

It just seems like a particularly unfair nitpick to me.

So then what about SS's tailfins? I'm just saying that Takara hasn't given us a list of "these are the ideals we will accomplish in 'Masterpiece line' toys."
