first pic of MP05 Megatron

This thing is awesome, I can't wait to see the full details. It certainly makes up for MP-02 and MP-04, not that I bought them anyhow.

I hope he comes with a crown for Starscream and a transforming trailer for Magnus. They can throw in a few spare Kremzeeks from Autorooper while they're at it.

I wish I had a trigger crotch

The trigger on MP Megatron is easily covered by an opening panel. They could add a non-opening panel on the other leg, for symmetry, and the problem is solved. The extra panels would also make the legs a little thicker.

If you take a closer look at the legs, you will see they are symetrical. That is why I was referring to the trigger as two halves. If they have gone through the trouble to eliminate the trigger crotch to make the design more toon-like, they might as well go that extra step to hide the two halves behind panels. I don't ever recall seeing any triggers in Meg's animated robot form. The only problem is, any added panels would have to be thick enough to house the triggers and would add undesirable thickness to the gun handle. While the scope/cannon does look out of porportion in the bot mode, I am liking CP's idea for a collapsing/telescoping type mechanism. Regardless of what we think up for ideas, Takara is in the driver's seat. I have faith that they will do their best to try and make Megatron look as good as possible in both modes.

Don't forget either that he has collapsible legs. There ain't no room in there.

I seriously can't believe that this is something people are bitching about.

Oh wait, yes I can.

I don't ever recall seeing any triggers in Meg's animated robot form.

I don't ever recall seeing any wheels in Prime's animated robot form, either. But no one complained about that stuff with MP01.

They did, at least, hide his front wheels within his torso to make him more G1 toon accurate. This is the type of thing I am referring to. This is what the MP line is all about and does reasonably well. (lets not include MP SS here for the sake of civility lol) Personally, I could care less about triggers and scopes. I'm not arguing about one thing or the other here. I'm just throwing out some opinions and observations for the sake of discussion here. Like I stated in my previous post, only Takara will have the final say here. We're just along for the ride.

But you can just as easily say, "They did, at least, move the trigger down off the crotch to make him more G1 toon accurate.

MP Prime has exposed wheels on his legs. He didn't in the show. That's a precident set by the MP line. When MP debuted, and there was no precident, that would've been a time to complain about non-G1 toon features on legs. But now that it's an established part of this line, and something no one had a problem with before, people are complaining about it. Like they haven't been paying attention or something.

Just seems silly to me.
