it's funny i was reading what ppl were thinking on michael bay forum...what's funny is that ppl there are giving high praise or forgiving comments. makes me think how much of the voice of the fans are actually being heard? it might be a good giant robot movie...but transformers not.

Is it me, or does this Megs' Alien Jet mode look like the GoBot named Vamp? Scary...

Then maybe a "changing of the guard" is about to occur. New Transfans may actually show up before all is said and done. Even fans of this movie will surely be Transfans.

Ah but see thats where Im worried with our little director Bay, I think its fair to say that most of the movies he's done up to this point, have had pretty weak stories, actors and charachters. Its all these factors combined that have us fans worried, no one is expecting a complete retelling of G1, however, there could have at least a bit of something recognizable. Sorry that you think if someone questions anything, then there only G1 fans because thats not the case.

 

That was my only worry about Bay being the director. He is a great action director, but has not been good at character development. On the other hand, bringing these characters to "life" may be difficult for anyone.

I love this design. The face even looks like Megatron, especially with the battle mode "helmet" on. The rest of him may not look very G1, but it still looks good. My only major gripe is there's no fusion cannon, but since

I'm not worried. He looks a lot like BM Megatron, but since I like BM Megs, that's good for me.
