More Crappy Designs

Booooo!!!!!!!! - Apparently Michael Bay and Hasbro's very own COO Brian Goldner have never watched a damn Transformers cartoon or ever read a Transformers comic book before. Have they even looked at the source material available on SEIBERTRON.com? For God's sake Mr. Bay and Mr. Goldner, this is not a Transformer! Maybe you guys should look into some eye glasses. What don't you get about this???

please, please tell me that Seibertron is a spoof site :rofl

They are to me.

Your either a "Purist" or an "Apologist". Someone should design faction symbols! LOL!

Or a rationally thinking fan of the 20 year history of the toyline...who doesn't worry about things not being "pure" when compared to some imagined Holy Design from 1984 and doesn't apologize for it...

If the Purist = Decepticon and Apologist = Autobot, then ^ is a Minicon

:roll Sure. You bet. I'm a minicon...way to make an intelligent argument, Shlocky.

Just having fun in the sea of no intellegence!

has the stupidity gotten so thick that people are drowning in it?

IT HAS! My thoughts: I feel we all have a choice to see this movie or not. Despite my voicing my disapointment (which is what forums are sometimes for) I will still let my curiosity get the better of me and see this....the way I saw Tristar Godzilla. It's only after you spent the $10 movie ticket that we truly have the right to Starscream.

Agreed, man. If it sucks, you can believe I'll be on you guys' side of the picket line.

..and seriously, if it ain't what some of us are hoping for, then at least somebody out there will be entertained. And I'm all for expanding the community.

but there will always be factions, unfortunately....

Me, too. I'll make the signs. With glitter. :thumb

But we owe it to them to see the movie. For every MOTU movie adaptation, there's an X-Men. We just don't know which one this is, yet. And all the online petitions in the world won't turn one into the other.

But Transformers is a brand built on reinventing itself every so often. We should give this reinvention a solid chance as a whole before we ask for Bay's head on a pike.

All this nitpicking tiny pieces of the puzzle just makes it less fun to be a fan. And, without fun, what other reason is there to be one?

I can't believe I actually read all 14 pages of this gheyness.

Any of you remember the fact that EVERY studio initially passed on Transformers?

Or perhaps that the BELOVED G1 DESIGNS are over 20 years old, and were specifically designed for a cartoon/comic book?

Or perhaps that the general public doesn't give a flying f*ck about a movie based on an old toy line?

STEP OUT OF YOUR FREAKING FANBOY BUBBLES SOMETIME

I love G1. LOVE it. I also love these movie designs. LOVE.

All this bullsh*t about "THIS IS NOT MEGATRON/PRIME/STARSCREAM" has gotten to an insane level of stupidity. Freaking get over it already.

Well said. I really WANT to be surprised and entertained. I hope I, at least, get that.
