Lord Madhammer: I also think that the G1 comics got a lot better in their post-movie issues; Target:2006, Time Wars etc. Whilst the final episodes of the cartoon (season four) showed dwindling quality in animation and story telling, the comics showed increasing quality in story telling and art - particularly when the Furman, Senior and Wildman started also producing stuff for Marvel US. The comics were canned due to diminishing toys sales rather than any lack of story or art quality. Understandable considering the fact that Action Masters came to dominate the late G1 lines - despite Furman's efforts to make Action Masters look cool (which didn't really work that well - at the end of the day, Transformers who can't transform just suck).

 

And yes, I'm aware that the cartoon was canned for similar reasons, but IMHO, the comics ended on far better note.

BTW, is that why Arcee took on that spider form?  And how did Daniel die anyway?

IMHO Hot pink Lime green neon yellow and red have crossed the threshold into "Goth" Colours
