Im playing devil's advocate here with this poster and agreein with him. The only thing really lame about this topic is the talk of why there was never a toy after this or after the movie prior to the HM experience. :clap

Tradtionally female action figures don't sell well. Still happens to this day... look at Override... male character in Cybertron, but his Galaxy Force counterpart (*Nitro Convoy) is female.

I officially call bullsh*t on all the "G1 was awesome until season 3" comments. To my mind, G1 started running out of ideas somewhere around the middle of the second season. If they hadn't introduced the combiners they would have had nothing but ghey episodes about Giant Space Boy Erin and worshipping Astrotrain and jousting with Decepticons and what not.

i partially agree. G1 did have a decline in season 2, but it had a worse decline in season 3. there was still some awesomeness(>.>) in S2.

While your assessment of the Japanese people's ability to speak English is generally accurate, "nee-tro" is technically a more accurate pronunciation according to its original Latin root (nitrum). I believe most other European languages also pronounce "nitro" in a similar way... English, being the phonetically ambiguity that it is, has decided to be different and pronounce the "ni" prefix like "nigh."

Why did the G1: Transformers cartoon got progressively worse? The first season kicked so much ass, and by the time NorAm had season 4, it was almost painful to watch.

I agree, Season 1 was great, Season 2 was good, and then it all started going down Hill.  As for the ? about Arcee, Very Lame.  :Dc
