c717905: in that case, you may also want to check out my Cybertronian Martial Arts Compendium -- everything on that site comes from official canon (unless otherwise stated), and it also has pics of a friend and I demonstrating some of these arts! :D

Ok, that looks like it took some serious effort to make.

I didn't realize that there were all these martial arts in TFs. I don't read the comics and they never named anything in the cartoons, so this is all new to me. You guys have obviously done some research. I love how you included the pics for illustration btw, I am impressed.

Now the real question, do either of you guys practice any martial arts?

i doubt it :tflaugh1

The only martial art which the cartoon cites is Jet Judo, which I have classified as a style of Autobot Diffusion, since Autobot Diffusion styles are supposed to heavily employ forms of grappling.

I've practised Northern Kung Fu and Teragon (my accomplice on that site) has practised Ninjutsu.

Edit: D'oh! I also initially used the wrong spelling of practise: practise = verb, practice = noun

Are you kidding? (the following is best said in the Comic Shop Guy's voice) Bludgeon is one of the coolest Decepticons - ever! (/ComicShopGuy)

He was a kick-arse warrior, who went through harsh trials to earn a spot on the elite Decepticon Mayhem Attack Squad (poor Needlenose barely made it!), went toe-to-toe with the Survivors - a team comprised of former members of the Autobot Wreckers and Carnivac - a former Mayhem Attack Squad member whom he royally pissed off! He rose through the ranks from warrior to Decepticon leader, and although his reign was relatively short, it was very interesting. His plan to betray and destroy the Autobots almost worked and even though he perished in G2, he left a legacy with the Decepticons' Warworld!

Here we have a Decepticon leader, who constructs a giant orbital weapon that can evaporate entire cities off the face of the Earth... why? Because he could! - that's why!

Although he was ultimately killed by G2 Megatron, even Megatron had to momentarily pause and reflect upon Bludgeon's pure destructive genius.

And long before Dinobot ever graced Beast Wars, Bludgeon represented one of the first Transformers portrayed as being a true noble warrior - one who has spent his entire lifetime refining and honing his skills... and in doing so, stooping themselves in a strict code of honour and discipline.

Huh? He transforms from tank to robot and back. How does he not qualify as a Transformer? Especially when Action Masters count as Transformers, and they don't even transform!
