Question about Bludgeon

I am not sure how a giant Robot disguising himself as a giant monster is much of a disguise....

True, but I'm not thinking along those lines.

 

If you're an Autobot (on Earth) and you see a giant monster, you think it's a giant monsters...and suddenly a TF pops out. That would work (like, once). If you're Decepticon and you see a giant human (on Earth or elsewhere), you just know that's something fishy...

But if an autobot saw a giant skeleton samurai destroying a city - he wouldnt stand back and say "well its not a decepticon - carry on - Oh HOLEY SH*** - thats a decepticon?!?!?!?"

No, but if for example, an Autobot would see a creature in a swamp or under water not acting violently or anything, just being there, then he would probably ignore him...and die because all of a sudden a Decepticon popped out of the shell, startling the autobot and giving the Decep a change to kill.

 

The pretender shells only work like that: letting the TF blend in in the background and not drawing attention to themselves as being TF's.

 

 

(But I keep thinking it's a lousy idea.)

uh, is nobody taking into consideration that Hawk could put on a different suit depending on what would be best to blend in at the time?

Actually, I like most of them. I don't care for the whole "humans that were 30 meters tall" or whatever the comics tried to go with, but the toys are fun.

Japan, they shrink to be like normal humans.

TF sized humans...........Dumb as hell! How could they Pretend to be other lifeforms if they are the height of TF? DW described them as being able to shrink. and their shells imitated human life perfectly under xrays and what not............I dont know how many barbarians were walking around after 2010.

The Cybertrons were responsible for the Neo-Lithic revolution, while the destrons were responcible for myths, and legends of monsters. The cybertrons managed to seal away the Destrons, and have grown attached to humans/humanity. that is at least untill the destron Pretenders are freed...

I think you guys tend to forget that we're talking about toys. In fact, these are supposedly toys that you guys collect. I can understand that Pretenders aren't most people's favorites, but there's no point in laughing at others for their appreciation for different Transformers ideas.

i've only seen him handled so he has skills in peteynorth's g1 v.2 which i would seriously recommend reading as it's top notch stuff.

 

in the comics though he was all talk and no show. no wonde he got his arse whuped

Really it wasn't that bad since most the Pretenders were out in space dealing with aliens that were TF sized in the late Marvel comics....
