Why buy something if you're not even going to open it? That's like getting married and never having sex with your wife.

To stick with your analogy, virgins are worth more on the secondary market.  :thumb  :tflaugh

The only MOSC toys I have are original runs of the original 4 Ninja turtles.  and those are only mosc becuase I already had the toys, but these were $2 a piece at big lots.

I'm hoping for a TMNT revival so I can sell em for a large profit.

You don't happen to mean the TMNT revival that's been happening for the last 4 years do you? Unless these are the new molds from the new show.

My toys come right out of the package, many times before i get home.

Yeah, and I'm hoping for a Dino Riders revival.

*snorts*

My reasons for the Star Wars stuff not being opened is probably because I had all the original stuff as a kid. I now look at the prices they go for, and I think it's ingrained that they could be worth something in future. Problem is, though, everyone else is doing the same, so there is very little stuff that has risen in price. The TF stuff, however, has always been to me about how they transform. A SW figure can be posed, a TF has a set of instructions, and is a little like a puzzle (In the case of some Alts, a bloody hard puzzle!). Almost every TF is different, and I just feel like I can't rest until I find out how to do the puzzle. Case in point, is when I saw the pictures of MP Prime - I HAD to see how that front grille sank into the body in 'bot mode. I now know it's a trick, but hey, a cool trick nonetheless.

It's not just that everyone's a collector nowadays. What also makes the SW stuff valuable is that it was originally produced in such relatively small quantities. And as we all know, there are over 500 Star Wars figures out there. I just don't see any way that the more recent figures are going to be anywhere near as valuable as the original ones, ever. Especially when Star Wars' cultural relevance is so tied to the 70's... it's not like the prequels made any similar kind of impact.

I know there's a new show, but the vintage stuff doesn't go for much.  Although I guess this is about as good as it's gonna get.
