you'd have to be a spoiled rich brat to buy a reissue that expensive and not open it to preserve the resale value. but then again, if you're rich then what do you care about reselling a tf for quick cash?

I was going to say it cost to much not to open, but I like your pov also :tflaugh

My opinion is "why buy it and not play with it?"

If you're just buying it to resell, then you're gonna be a real old man who didn't play with his toys.  How much more money could you possibly get out of it in your lifetime? LOL!!

I thought about not opening my stuff, but then again, I don't want to live my life not having experienced the joy out of playing and transforming these toys.

Maybe if you lived 300 years, and could actually make some real money off these things, it'd be worth it....maybe....

But, yea, PLAY WITH YOUR TOYS!!!

And I mean Transformers toys!!!! :P

So many people buy toys and keep them MISB now that keeping them MISB isnt really worth it now.  However, if you are happier displaying them in box, MISB is probably better.

I got my Star Convoy last night.  He was opened within minutes.  Happiness followed, then the stress of applying stickers straight, then more happiness.

I'm at work tonight, and he is here with me.  Good Times.

Uh, I don't care what some of them are bringing on eBay now, there still reissues and aren't 'worth' anything in my opinion. Keep an old one sealed if you like. Hell, they aren't 'that' hard to find. A reissue...open it. Its a knock-off with fantastic production value for all I'm concerned.

Open it obviously, keep OLD toys sealed is one thing, but keep the reissues sealed is nonsense to me.
