On transforming him, you'll find that he might not want to stand in robot mode. You have to look at his legs and instructions very carefully to figure out why it doing that. There is the lower legs rear or front that push out.

open it man....*looks at megabolt standing oright infront of him*....DEFENITLY open him :D

YES ...... I would take your guys words over anything ... You are all wise ... I WILL ... I HAVE ... he is open.

Sure its only mega bolt anyways oh & this is coming from an misb/moscer

Transformers should not be incarcerated in packages! Free the Megatron 1! Free the Megatron 1!

By the way, I'm anti-MISB. :)

As far as my opinion goes, the most enjoyment I get out of my transformers collection is occassionally taking them down, transforming them, putting them into new poses, and then putting them back. If you can't touch it, and enjoy it, there's no point.

Other people, however, see value in leaving their figures in the package, never taking them out, maybe dusting the boxes from time to time. That's not the way I'd choose to do it, but it is how they decide to do it.

Due to space constraints, however, I've been forced to leave some in the box. For instance, I lost the instructions to Strongarm and the instructions and card to Inferno, so I bought new ones and left them in their packages, just to complete my collection. Also, any repaints I buy, such as Dreadwing, Energon Ironhide, Doom-lock, Command Ravage, so on and so forth, they stay in their packages as well.

So how do you display your collection? Out of the box, in the box, or a mix of the two? And if it's a mix, was it on purpose, or do you have toys 20 years old or more?
