Cybertron Armorhide

I always like the deluxes the best, followed by the basics. Most the larger figures seem to be large for the sake of being large and don't take advantage of it by being more detailed; they just get electronics, meh.

Yeah really why don`t they give Megs and Prime articulated fingers? Or more Alternatorish poseability? Megs is always so huge that Prime needs a blasted super mode just so he stands eye to eye with him. Why don`t they just drop the super mode and go for super articulation for once in a main line? I mean really Starscream is huge and yet he`s almost as much of a brick as G1 Starscream at least by today`s standards of poseability.

Anyone else suprised that they find themselves liking the little basics as much, if not more than the Ultra's, Supremes, or Leaders?

I've been sayin that since I got Ransack :eek The little guys freakin pwn! :clap

I've been quite surprised with the scouts myself.  I never had any intentions of picking any of them up but got a Ransack because TRU was having a buy any TF $19.99 and get a free scout.  I have since bought a few more scouts.  :tflaugh Found Armorhide today too and actually think its one of the best basics.  Swore would never buy him from seeing the pics but he actually is quite cool.  Any transformer that can kneel on one knee is cool to me (e.g. Armorhide and Sideways).  Not many TFs (or toys for that matter) can do that while staying balanced.

I only have Cyb. Red alert and Hot Shot as Deluxes, and I just picked up Scattershot today.  I am VERY impressed by this little guy, way more than I expected to be.  (I got him with the sole reason to have the full 1st form of the Vanguard Team)

I think I'll pass by some places in the morning and pick up Armorhide and Hardtop on my way to work...

Ya I really dont collect any of the main lines. I'm into the Alts and G1 stuff but most if not all the main line stuff has never really interested me. But I did have to pick up Cyb. Jetfire and I'm seriously considering Ransack and Armorhide, they look like pretty cool little guys.

I am a HUGE fan of this toy.  He is one of my favorite Cybertron toys by FAR.  Those of you know me know that Alternators/Binaltech are my main TF interest, though I pick and chose from the main line.

There is one really cool feature as to why I really like Armorhide so much:  his transformation.  I think it's really cool and clever that he basically transforms as an upside down vehicle.  Ever since I got him I've just thought that was cool.  Overall, he is just a really cool toy.

A cool note.. Cyb Hardtop is able to balance himself on ONE FOOT .. :eek can't say I know of too many that can do that... :redface

well I had hotshot and got clocker at the same time. I sent back hot shot cos for a deluxe he had sub-standered features in comparison to clocker. clocker being a basic had a more complex transformation and was far more articulated than the deluxe size hotshot.

As everyone knows I go for the deluxe size toys but now I'm finding surprises in the basics.

dont have him yet... but clocker is my fav basic thus far.
