Liking the basics a lot and Armorhide looks really cool. Won him on eBay recently and I hope to receive him soon.

*Begins plans for Rachet and Ironhide repaints :mwahaha

A cool note.. Cyb Hardtop is able to balance himself on ONE FOOT .. :eek can't say I know of too many that can do that... :redface

You'd be surprised, actually.  I've managed to get Cruellock into a badass charging/running pose, with his giant sword ready to strike someone down, while the single leg that's supporting him is angled (ie, the foot isn't flat on the ground), without any outside support.  And I can set up said pose pretty consistently, too.

I've also gotten my PG Strike Gundam to stand in a high-kick pose without support for over 5 minutes, and then I took it down so that the joints wouldn't wear out prematurely, or risk having it fall over and break.

Yeah, so far the Scouts have been the real stars of this line IMO.  I find myself liking the Deluxes too, but with dudes like Armorhide, Ransack and my fave Overhaul, you almost don't need the bigger guys.  A couple have had less-than-stellar articulation (I made a big mod to Overhaul to get him some real arm movement, and we won't even discuss Scattershot's legs) but for $7 toys they're pretty hard to beat.  And such a variety!  We're actually getting a ton of different molds instead of the same six or seven repainted two or three times each like Energon.

Armorhides pretty cool but for me I really like Breakdown, and Undermine. Breakdown for his bot mode and teriffic articulation, and undermine for sporting the best dinomode thus far. Armorhide however wins for best alt mode/most unique gimick. :thumb

I'm looking foward to Brakedown myself. I really need to get caught up with Cybertron.. life really isn't letting me do that though.. <_

I  thought of getting breakdown a couple of times. He looks real neat for a tiny figure but I'm holding out for a sideways instead.

The one thing I'm staring to hate in this line is the whole key thing.

There are cool action features but you gota grab that stupid key to activate crap that would have been better if there was a small button instead,

I'm trying to figure out how to retofit a triguring mechinism to activate the features w/out the keys.

:lol

I hear ya. Some of them are more trouble than what it's worth.. I think Minicons were the best way to go as far as gimmicks went. But I honestly missed the days of BW/BM when there was no gimmicks to speak of.

After FINALLY spotting one each of Leobreaker and Mudflap at my local TRU, I quickly snagged them from the shelf before losing my opportunity to get them.

And I am glad that I did...  :tftongue

But also on the shelf was one Cybertron Armorhide. So I figured what the heck, and threw him on the pile as well.

Believe it or not, I actually like the little guy! I have seen the cross sell pics for some time now, but I didn't think he would grow on me as much as he did...

Anyone else suprised that they find themselves liking the little basics as much, if not more than the Ultra's, Supremes, or Leaders?

Yeah! :thumb  This little guy is soooo awesome!  I got this guy in the week and haven't been able to put him down yet!  You know that they were thinking Huffer when they put Armorhide together.  I would love to see the repaint but this guy dosen't even need it.  Mine is a little loose in the legs but awesome never the less.  May even buy another!
