Galaxy Force & Cybertron Differences

Recommended Posts

Speaking of differences in the toys...  Is there any actual difference between the regular Voyager-packaged Cybertron Vector Prime, and the Vector Prime that comes with the red Starscream in the TRU 2-pack?

nopers.

its just color differences

gf is mostly white plastic with red paint apps

tru is mostly red plastic with silver paint apps

gf swords are lighter pink, tru is darker purpleish

mold is exactly the same though, i didnt notice any quality issues

also tfc hotshot has screws that can be tightened for his lil wings, gf doesnt so those wings cant be pushed in and stay in w/o lots of negotiation

How Dare you isault Transformers R.I.D!!

It was my faverote!!

So what how big Megs is? Size doesn't always justify a great bot, look at E-Omega, plain garbage!

Energon Omega was not all that bad. Galaxy Force Megalo Convoy/Cybetron Metroplex who is far worse. Does not look all that great in bot mode but has a really poor alt mode as well.

I did not like this Megatron much. He just does not look like an evil leader. The G1 inspired colorscheme for Galvatron is cool but it does not work since he does not look like G1 Megatron.

It is the Japanese way to have a leader combine with other figures all the time. Their stories do not revolve around actually having to fight (such as Beast Wars or Beast Machines) but if you get into a tough spot all you do is combine with another Transformer.

There are minor differences between both lines. Basically the GF version is a bit better but they are not always worth paying a higher price for.

i almost bought galaxy, not cybertron.

figures name sounds cooler than cybertron's

"Dino Shout"? "Tera Shaver"? "Autolander"? "Demolisher"?

Hey gang, I'm pretty new around these parts...but I have a couple questions...

I was wondering if any of you know which bots have a significent difference in paint-jobs between the cybertron and galaxy force line.

I always want my toys to be as close to the show as possible,  that's why I went mostly takara for my Beast Wars.

I noticed myself that the Cybertron Vector Prime coloring was off...but the Galaxy Force one looks spot on.

Are there anymore I should know about?

Also...I can't seem to find a smaller version of Starsceam for the Cybertron line, is the only one they released the TRU exclusive with Vector Prime?

All I see is that supreme sized one.

Is the Galaxy Force Starscream numbered GD-03 a smaller one?

Thanks!

i beleive the gf vector prime's wings and swords where also made of a hard plastic, and yes the only small SS for cybertron is the TRU exclusive, and yes the GF SS is normal voyager size.

Thanks for the quick reply BK!

I just snagged Starscream and Vector Prime  Galaxy force style!  :thumb

Any other differences you guys can think of?

I also just noticed Nitro Convoy has a painted gold face!

My override is just orange from the look of it.

Oh well...
