How did G1 officially end?

eh, give Furman time :P

also, I lost a reply?

But the point about BM Cybertron and Cybertron Cybertron reformating, would you really count that as the planet reformatting twice with the whole seperate universe deal?

I do like some of the stories about the TFs wanting to be reverted back to their non BM forms, thats how I have "modern" Autobots and Decepticons explained.

It is two separate continuities, with Primus choosing to reformat his corporeal form in each. The thing about Beast Machines, is that it takes place very far in the future, (over three hundred years). The modern Autobots and Decepticons are the ancestors of the Maximals and Predacons, not their descendants. For instance, G1 Arcee was Rat Trap's Great Aunt.

Lol, Earth is really Cybertron....Where the Americans are Autobots, and well, if the Americans had it their way the rest of the world are the Decepticons :P

Oh and Mexicans are Junkions

well, yeah, but for me a G1 autobot is different then a AEC autobot. I actualy couch that up to modern construction of a figure. The new toys we get are much more an evolution of the beast era the G1...

Concerning Cybertron vs Beast Wars. they're to seperate continuities. The evidence is plain as day with the g1 characters and the Ark.

With that I'd think that the reformating in Cybertron most likely never happened in the BW paralel. So like you said wouldn't the planet only have been reformated once.

On screen it happened twice, but essentialy it's a different place due to the series change.

No, because Cybertron was a shit series, and I stopped watching it about 6 episodes through :P

If you can stand subtitles, I recommend watching Galaxy Force. They really dumbed it down and screwed it up when they dubbed it into English.

One thing to consider, while BW was referring to G1, AEC still had a BW of it's own. So one can ponder how it worked out in that dimension, seeing as details are sparse about the AEC Beast Wars.

Wreckers and Universe clearly show that the Beast Wars continuity is the same as the G1 cartoon continuity. Beast Wars itself shows this as well given that Starscream's ghost plays an important part of a number of episodes. As for G1 Autobots and Unicron Trilogy Autobots go, of course they're different. Each group comes from a completely different timeline. The only truly unique beings in all of the multiverse, with no alternates in any reality is Primus, Unicron, and the Thirteen, some of whom exist simultaneously in all continuities at once, while others travel between them.

The few AEC versions of Beast Wars[/i] characters aren't Maximals or Predacons. They're Autobots and Decepticons who simply happen to have Transmetal beast modes. There's no indication in any AEC fiction (cartoon or comic) that the AEC universe had a "Beast Wars" of their own like happened in the G1 continuity. As for the rest, we're definitely in agreement.

Not talking about the BW mold guys in Armada.

Read Transformers Legends, there is a story in the Armada setting where some humans and Laserbeak (the orange Armada guy) read cave carvings and it tells them about the Beast Wars. Complete with Rattrap, Silverbolt, and the usual company. Also, Cybertron Sky Shadow's bio or key code info revealed that he named himself after the Predacon warrior from the Beast Wars (of course it's just Jetfire in disguise, but hey).

well, I actualy do fit RID and AEC into my personal fic.

BW Megatron tampered with time three times. RID was one time, AEC was the second, the third only has a story relation on my shelves.

The way I tell it is G1 into Beast Wars.

Then there's RID and AEC due to the tampering.

Beast Machines opens a nexus into understanding these changes the return of Unicron and so on...

Classics, Animated, Universe and such are progressive new bodies for older Transformers as well as next gen arrivals.

Primus awakens, and the energy from that copies the essence of some transformers and creates new bings based on the old.

-ie, Movie Prime isn't the same as Optimus Prime even though he was spawed from his essence.

More transformers are developed and built...

Megatron's third tampering involves a joint partnership with Energon Megatron to use a dark Matrix to revive ancient Decepticon beast such as the Ravage and Fallen packs he uses as guard hounds to staple a new army as the current Decepticon/Predacons are all over the place.

Again, it's just a quick rundown on my personal fic, and how I explain things like having 2 shelves of optimus prime.

The only problem there is that stories told in Transformers: Legends specifically take place outside of continuity. The book is still canon, but nothing in it has any direct bearing on any existing continuity. Each story is its own pocket continuity. This is specifically stated in the forward of the book itself. To wit:

...none of the stories in this volume are part of continuity. In other words they don't count for future "facts" in the Transformers universe except as they should: these stories are for fun, giving us the chance to read about characters we've come to love. —Transformers: Legends
