I do agree. There is something to be said for a traditional name.

Naming your kid off a trend (poor girls all named Paris), or some attempt to be overtly unique, is just gonna hurt the kid later in life and give them yet 1 more reason to hate you

The more I see it, the more overly serious attitude around the forum starts to work at me. I'm deeply involved with OFA, and it bothers me that attitude and reception there is no where near as admiant as the ones found here...

Transformers are a child's play thing, and an adult's hobby. I always saw this as an escape from angst, not a reason to foster it. This isn't to everyone, but you know who you are, pull the dam stick out of your ass and maybe you can have a good time.

 

However if this is the most angerworthy, anguishable thing in your life, I envy your simplicty.

 

I know the counter argument 'oh well I guess we can't have our oppinions' sure you can, feel free not to like something. There's no reason to be stand offish about it though. If you can't interject a negative without it being countered with a uptight greatter negative instead of conversation, just walk away from it.

 

Take Wreckers week, I thought that was stupid as hell, instead of making sure I chimed in at every turn to put it down though, I just left it to the people who would enjoy it.

Megatron isn't so ridiculous if the child is female. Megatron was around as an admittedly geeky nickname long before Transformers were ever thought of. She could be called Meg for short and if she hates it at school she can just say her name is Megan or Margaret.
