MY SISTER SAID IF I GET ONE MILLION FANS SHE WILL NAME HER BABY MEGATRON

Recommended Posts

Yeah, and you could have done all that w/o facebook. It's been happening for thousands of years. And you can look at pictures of a mountain all day but that doesn't replace climbing it.

I'm not talking about real friends, I'm talking about the hundreds of people that some people have listed as their friends that they will never meet or hardly ever "talk" to.

Sure, here my words get to hundreds of people if they read what I have to share but I only count a handful as real friends. Quality not quantity :yay

what.. are you jealous that you don't have a million facebook friends or something?

i think facebook was a really great idea when it started.. when you NEEDED a supported college email address to join. it was a great way to meet people that you were going to be going to school with come fall. and find out which people were going to be in your class, or in your dorm. or talk to alumni about their experiences. but now that it's basically turned into myspace.. there's no real point to it. i haven't used facebook in a while, i deleted my myspace a long time ago, and i don't even dare visit twitter.

for some people these "places" serve a purpose.. just not for me

Before my son was born, I use to joke with my wife about calling him Megatron. Then I was going to raise him to be a judge so ever time he entered court the bailiff would have to say, all rise for Megatron.

That is great!

I'm not sure how anything I said makes it sound like I would even want to join one of those. But in answer to your question : Hell no.

it's like anything. It all depends on how you use it.

I will agree though, Myspace and Twitter are unneeded for me.

Sure it makes sense for some, but why do I need to see the same thing from the same people on 3 different sites.

Kinda the same way I only bother with just 1 TF site.

I only ever bother with one Transformers site(this one) with any regularity. Though I think I have accounts at some of those other sites, I rarely ever go there and when prompted to give a username and password, I have to look them up!

I don't see much value, personally, for social networking sites like myface, etc also -- but obviously they are very popular and so a large majority of people do enjoy them.

As far as twitter - it is a good source for breaking news in events that are going on quickly. Perfect example is sports -- with the NFL draft coming up - you can find out about Free Agency moves; who is visiting what teams, what teams are inviting potential people in, etc. You get 'eventual' news a tad faster - often from the same source that writes the news articles. I don't personally feel a need to have the news faster, so I don't use/read twitter either -- but I know on a sports message board I write on also - a few of the guys always have upcoming news faster and copy/paste twittered info.

For the sake of her child I hope its a girl, Meg's is much more believable then MEGatron. I've seen an Arcee be a girls name why not Meg?

Which would explain why the rest of your post sounded strange unless you were :redface

Sorry, I've had the worst backache for a week and the drugs seem to take away the ability to spot humor :lol Or I just can't tell anymore unless there's a laughing emoticon attached.

instead of naming my son Megatron or Optimus Prime, i would personal choose Jazz, Prowl or Ironhide
