RotF Leader Prime: The second coming of Jesus?

Recommended Posts

Damn, this guy is awesome.

I never had the first Movie Prime, so I can't really compare them, but for those who have both, am I right in guessing that the first Movie Prime sucks balls now?

I hope you not mocking Jesus Christ.

but yes the movie prime is a great toy.

The first leader prime always sucked balls. I only got him because he was what was available. The two dont even compare in my book. Rotf prime is epic

Yeah, Leader Prime is amazing. I opened mine today and was amazed at how awesome his robot mode is. Even if I never buy another RotF figure, at least I have the pinnacle of figures. However, I wish I could say the same for his transformation. It took me nearly an hour to transform him from Robot to Truck. I even had to use the instructions. :wtf This reminds me why I love G1 Transformers so much: the ease of their transformations.

Are ya blaspheming? Keep it up.

Anyhow, I have them both and granted, ROTF OP is a serious step up in bot, the first movie one still has it bits going for it. I wish they had stuck with rubber tires on the new one and there are a couple pieces that feel a little weak, but then again, I have the hands of a Beast. I just view them as evolutionary steps in bot design.

it is a perfect transformer for collectors since kids would never be able to transform him....

It took my two tries and a stress relief audio tape before i actually got him in truck mode. now that he's back in robot mode im scared to try again.....

The only things that tripped me up were the sliding arm panels and his abdomen pieces sliding into his arms.

Now I can transform him in about 10 minutes, either direction. I'd complain about the time, but it's just too damn fun transforming him.

And yeah, there are some parts that feel weak, like the arm panels. I wish the top part of the arm panels had a longer hinge. But it's nothing compared to how weak the new Screamer's wings feel.

Awesome figure!

Though his chest peices had me perplexed for a long time.

First Transformer in years that I actually had to read the instructions to convert...

Not since Alternators Grimlock/ Wheeljack...

BUY THIS FIG!

As amazingly epic ROTF Leader Prime is he still suffers from one horrible problem

He's starting to forget his name, everytime I try to transform the poor bot he keeps on saying "I am Optimus Prime" over and over again, poor fella.

Seriously has anyone transformed this guy and not said "Yes I know, your Optimus Prime"

I could of went for rubber tires and actual fingers, but i do wish there was an on/off switch for the electronics. The 07 model isn't as bad as i make it sound, it just isnt screen accurate. Its a great tf by itself, the blockiness just always put me off. Its kinda like looking at the brick shape of g1 prime's toy compared to the streamlined look of his animation. Both are great for varios reasons, you just cant compare
