RotF Leader Prime: The second coming of Jesus?

Recommended Posts

The 09 version is fabulous, but the Takara version of 07 Prime with chrome is still epic despite not being accurate.

I keep trying but I can't get mine to transform into Jesus no matter what I do !!!

Sa-weet Optimus for sure :yay

As amazingly epic ROTF Leader Prime is he still suffers from one horrible problem

He's starting to forget his name, everytime I try to transform the poor bot he keeps on saying "I am Optimus Prime" over and over again, poor fella.

Seriously has anyone transformed this guy and not said "Yes I know, your Optimus Prime"

^^^^This! I seriously LOL'ed when I read this, only because I was able to relate. I was like ok man, I get it...you ARE Optimus Prime. :roll

Needless to say, I took the batteries out of this sucker because I didn't want to keep being reminded how how he IS Optimus Prime every time I transform and I accidentally trigger the switch with my hand.

...I actually didn't believe him when he called himself optimus prime. :tflaugh

He is AWESOME. Probably the absolute pinnacle of movie accurate Transformers (in vehicle/robot mode, and in transformation). I have to add a few paint apps (mostly some silver/gray for his head antenna, feet and blades). I'm contemplating painting the molded Autobot logo on the center of his chest.

His head articulation is pretty good. Granted it's not a ball joint, but he can still look up and down and side to side.'

I used some rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab to get rid of the black Autobot logo on the left sun visor.

I want this figure so bad, taking a trip to TRU tomorrow, and he is a must buy if they have him :)

SOOO FREAKIN' EXCITED?

Where are all the pics of him in really cool poses?

Sam.

it is a perfect transformer for collectors since kids would never be able to transform him....

It took my two tries and a stress relief audio tape before i actually got him in truck mode. now that he's back in robot mode im scared to try again.....

Trust me, it gets easier with each transformation.

The things that REALLY make his transformation hard are the little tabs that stick up from his shoulders. They keep his doors from moving out of the way when trying to close his front end.

Got a question regarding Prime's transformation from robot to truck. Are you supposed to pull his windshields out from his chest when you are getting ready to attach his legs to his cab/body? I see there are little tabs attached below to the red pieces that sit in a vertical slider on both sides of his lower abdomen, but I feel as if when I pull them out that with enough transformations, those little tabs will eventually break with having to force them back in all the time. So are they designed to be pulled out and forcefully pushed back in, or should I just be sliding his windshields up as I am connecting his cab to his legs?

You mean the red parts that hook into his arms?

Those are designed to come out. The little red nub will wear down over time, but that's a good thing. It'll make him easier to transform, while still keeping him solid.
