Keep what for myself? My opinion? You guys have made comments slamming Animated. I happen to like Animated. Have I told you to keep your opinions and comments to yourself? This is a forum for open discussion. God forbid we have differing opinions on a hunk of plastic.

 

He's worse than the first movie legends Megs. He looks like a total gimp with the hunch back and the deformed arms. He's the same uninspired bland gray plastic. The head has NO paint details whatsoever. They have a few spots of what looks like black "Over Spray" that I guess is supposed to be some sort of charring of battle damage. The FAB Tank mode is a total WIN compared to this tank mode. IN fact the FAB it's self is a total win compared to this one. Don't get me wrong...some of the movie line I do like. Sideswipe is :awsum I even like the "Twins" with their gimpy looking faces (at least their body is in proportion). This just fails so hard.

 

I dont like him either.

Reject from the cast of "The Hills have Eyes"...the crappy remake one that is. I know...WTF?

Damn, first a cool tank, second a beast of a robot, now a mutitool arm of doom.. HURRY UP AND GET THE GUY OUT HASBRO.

I never bought any Animated figures (love the show, but the figures do nothing for me) but Animated Megatron looks Amazing when compared to Leader TF 2 Megatron. I don't completely hate the new Megatron look cause I think its going to look great on the big screen in motion, its just the figure to me looks a little unimpressive. I actually prefer the look of the first movies Leader Megatron's robot mode to this one. Though I do think the tank mode blows away the space/cybertronian jetmode of the first Megs.

After looking at the comparison shots, I like it much more than all the other incarnations!

 

And he has a gimpy arm as part of the plot, which I won't be giving away, but I think it really shows his character willing to sacrifice for the enormous raw power in his other arm.

Not many figs are grabbing me for this upcoming Movie.

 

Same here. A good thing really what with the Alternity figures and Fans Projects win coming down the line. Also frees me up to pick up some missing Masterpiece items as well as Ebay purchases. Some of the repaints from universe has got me wanting to go back and look at some of the old AEC figures I passed up.

 

The Corvette is the only fig Ill be getting from this Movie line.......Oh and Arcee.

 

Things is......I need to complete my Classic Universe line.Its the damn Seekers that are killing me.Funk crazy prices.All I need is Dirge.....but damn even he taps my pockets.

I like that he's bigger, but other than that he just looks like a mess to me. Most likely will not buy.

Just because it's part of the plot doesn't make it right as a toy.

I can't believe I'm about to post this: The first Megatron(sans ice) looks better than the "Igor"-tron or "Franken"-tron.

 

Bad looking plastic, seriously gimped looking left arm and "porky on treads" tank mode just makes me back away from the toy isle. The only saving grace is the "Murder arm", and that's pushing it IMO.
