RID Magnus in alt, odd, but OK, just tell me he's carying!!!

 

I normaly keep mine boxed, but when freed, I keep him combined. I recently came across a loose RID Prime, so now I'm hunting permanent loosie.

I actually switch it up pretty regularly.. no real reason for it. Granted at the moment a good 95% of my stuff is stored away in boxes at the moment..

 

Of the few that stayed out (presently Animated is the "featured" stuff) I have Cybertron Mode Megatron in jet-space-thingy-of-doom mode .. not because I don't like the figure, but because its weird having a display of him and his leader mode standing right there.. and Leader Megs just looks better in robot mode than the Voyager telling.

 

Periodically I grab one out of my boxes for the hell of it.. Armada Jetfire is a favorite tinkering guy of mine. Probably one of the few favorites I have from that line. I also have a BW Rattrap handy that I flip back and forth with. Not quite the same thing, but RiD Prime and Magnus have been merged for a long long time now.. and I have no real desire to undo that mess of parts. Same can be said for BW Magnaboss. Mostly because the individual robot modes kinda suck. Generally I keep all the gestault type things together .. because I'm unoriginal like that.

I always keep them in alt mode. That's the whole point, they're "robots in disguise"! When somebody that doesn't know better comes over they don't even know they transform. They just think I have a lot of car & plane toys.

 

Back before I sold my Alternators I had them all lined up in alt mode. When people saw them they didn't know they were Transformers. They thought I had a large collection of die-cast cars. I thought that was awesome. I transform & play with them all the time but when I'm done they go back into hiding.

Only 4 at the moment.

 

Alt rodimus (sits on tv, safety)

MP ss and SW (I switch em back and forrth every couple months or so, sw especially has a bitchen alt mode)

1 of 2 WST sideswipes (the one chosen for alt mode has no head, hence the logical choice)

Movie Payload. Which is a shame, because I love his robot mode and the transformation is really clever. The bot mode just keeps falling apart every time I move him, and he's too unstable with his back-mounted phallus. Ugh.

 

While I'm at it, Movie Brawl--the leader toy--stays in his tank mode. He's just not as good as the deluxe, IMO, and his transformation is a royal pain.

Movie Payload. Which is a shame, because I love his robot mode and the transformation is really clever. The bot mode just keeps falling apart every time I move him, and he's too unstable with his back-mounted phallus. Ugh.

With less respect than Waspinator, the larger bots swing him at there foes. The pop apart just makes it that much funnier!

 

The down side, so few Decepticons have articulated hands. They should do something about that.

...now there's an idea. Finally, something for Universe Unicron to do besides just standing there looking cool! And as far as articulated hands for Decepticons goes, some of them don't even HAVE hands (and I'm talking about you, Voyager Movie Starscream).

 

How in the world did I manage to forget:

 

G1 Brawn (!!!)

G1 Motormaster (what a yucky, icky robot mode)

Each and every last one of the G1 seekers (bot modes aren't horrible, but the jet modes are SO much better)

Animated Lockdown (see above)

G1 Blitzwing and Astrotrain

My MP Starscream is the only one in alt mode... He has that broken hinge and I didnt want to mess with him anymore...

G1 Magnus has been truckin' since I got the fp armor for Classics UM. Alt Prime stays in truck mode because I like the stripes I put on the side and I just hate his bot mode. Dlx movie BB stays as a camaro just cause it's bitchin. And I keep a couple of animated bots and a couple of G1 autobot cars in alt mode just cause I'm too lazy to bother.
