Couldn't you commission a proper Galvatron custom from Sari or Jin for 200 bucks?

I guess I just look at it this way -- someone at TakaraTomy gets paid actual money, like takes home a paycheck, for producing these reissues. If it were my job to do this, I'd think that I would spend my days looking at reference materials and such. You know, to make sure I'm doing my job. When the color is that far off from anything Galvatron has ever looked like, I just have to wonder, who didn't do their job? Is it hard to discern the difference between Hello Kitty Lavender and Galvatron Blurple? Is that a challenging situation to be put into?

 

My angst is also made more mighty by the fact that Galvatron is hardly EVAR colored correctly, by anyone. Of course it's one of my favorite characters of all time that has to constantly get PANTOWNED.*

What to do with $200?

 

Blockbuster + Babysitter + Night out with the missus (maybe even a hotel room) > than plastic toy.

I'd probably get a scanner so i can put up my art right, or maybe get my laptop

 

 

as for transformers..there's nothin i really want right now..except maybe for Oil Slick, Acid Storm(never got starscream) and that marvel venom transformer :D

well if things are so tight that you have to choose... I agree, I wouldn't be collecting TFers either. Home/wife ALWAYS have to come first.

 

 

As far as spending $200 on TFers - yes, i've done it multiple times.

 

MP-04 - $210 - ahh.. i had MP-01, so this was superfulous - but the completist in me got the better of me.

 

MP-02 - $220 AND DAMN THEM for re releasing it now!!! ($120 down the toilet as they killed it's value) oh well. say lave.

 

BT-17 - $250 Black Convoy - LOVE this one. have no regrets. Unless they re release it...

KISS HotRod - $180 -- coulda shot myself for not getting it on preorder like the others.

 

 

I want to get the MP--08 Grimlock also - currently $135 -- but the timing is not the best right now. Part of me says just do it before it goes up. The other part says wait 6 weeks, when it would be a better time for me. As long as it stays on preorder and doesn't sell out, should be fine. Im taking the chance that it doesn't sell out given the already steep price. if it goes up, i'm going to be pissed tho.
