I'd probably grab a :animated Magnus.

But I have to ask - is this a rhetorical "what would you do?" or is it a "What should Pete do?" question?

I would think that Gentle Giants Star Wars Replicas would be more worth your salt...

It is for me (birthday cash) but I was looking for some ideas I wouldn't have thought of...

well, it depends on if you're wanting one major purchase, or multiple purchases adding up to $200...

And there's always a 1/48 scale VF-1S/J/A you could get too...

but for some reason I've been thinking about those headmaster heads that turn into animals, and the cassettes that turn into dinosaurs.

I'm thinking #1, since I always have a few bucks, but I rarely have a large cash drop

sadly, MP Rodimus Prime doesn't exist yet <_<

How 'bout Wii Fit?

Fallout 3 = I WANT IT but I have no next-gen console to play it on :(

Stupid Wii!!

I totally forgot about music label Soundwave. Id get Voyagers at retail then

Well, knowing that you're a fan of the original Macross/Robotech, I'd recommend trying to find a 1/48 VF-1S and the super/strike parts, or a VF-1J Rickaru and the GBP armor. Also, Digital-toys.com is running a special on the Masterpiece figures right now, so you could get Starscream, Thundercracker, & Skywarp all for under $200, or if you've already got Screamer, you can get Megatron instead.

And there's always that sweet new Millennium Falcon set for $150-ish that your kids can still play with too if you're worried about that.

Oooh...the giant Falcon. Buy that. And be sure to get the shrink ray for it too, so you can still use your house.
