I'm hoping Hasbro brings them over. New wing designs means they technically can, I believe (but yeah, it will probably still piss off FunPub).

 

But I don't think I'd pay more for Dirge than I would for ML Soundwave. Oh well. I can console myself with... Animated Dirge.

Maybe I'm just crazy here, but I wouldn't mind paying high prices for these things if I really wanted them. It's the cost of being a fan IMO -- sometimes the things you want are limited edition / import pieces, and you can either fork over the cash or STFU and move on.

It's completely another thing to expect 'reasonable' prices, especially when people have families to feed, bills & a house to pay for, and we're heading into a recession! I'm just addressing the sense of entitlement that seems to pervade the fandom. Not everything is going to end up on a peg at Wal-Mart for $10, even if it's something you really want. And that's okay.

On the other hand, I would be surprised if Hasbro doesn't release them now that Takara did the hard part and molded new wings for them.

 

In my case, it's less a sense of entitlement as it is a belief in Hasbro's love of easy redecoes.

Hasbro has made it clear a few times they won't release them after the Club issues. This is evidenced by the SS mold being offered 2 times in Universe 2.0 without addressing the fans wishes. I give them credit for sticking to their word, but its kind of silly considering how well they would sell and more rediculous to believe people will join the club just for the toys.
