After 10 years every transfan remember Beast Wars very well but the same doesn´t happen with Beast Machines. Every aspect of BW is valued today as the TV show, toys (some rare and very expensive), comics, but BM seems to be destinated to be forgotten. Beast Machines tooks the consagrated characters from BW and turn them inside-out literally. The designs become extra-weird and ugly and the personalities completely twisted. And the plot... No commentaries. After 10 years I think BW deserved a better sequel. Hasbro and Mainframe (or another company) should start over again beggining from the end of BW. Yup, dumped over toys. There are other reasons we broke up, but she kept going back to "spending ALL my money on 'toys' when I have bills to pay" (not true! NEVER been late on a bill!!) ...she called me immature, a child, blah blah blah... Truth of the matter: my collecting severely subsided after she expressed her distaste... Not to mention she hypocritically has a few of my Universe figures (including a comical E. Omega Supreme's head riding Universe Magna Stampede)....which I WILL be getting back... Has anybody else experienced rockiness in a relationship over these COLLECTORS' ITEMS? Were ya'll able to sway them into realizing they're not just toys? How?

Okay, what happened to us getting different primes? First, Optimus. That was good for a while. Then in the movie, we got a fresh change to Rodimus. But after that, we didn't get another new Prime. Instead, Optimus not only returned, but he's been the star of every series since! Let's compare the situation to Star Trek. It'd be like Captain Kirk comming back to life and being in EVERY future Trek series and movie instead of any new Captains. And we all know Kirk's an icon/legend... most of all the tf series tend to end with the cons being exterminated or damn near so. it just doesn't fit in with the autobot mentality to exterminate half of their entire race due to political differences. and if you factor in the Primus creation story then you open an even bigger can of worms: Primus creates the tf race, the cons branch off and become violent, and then Primus is perfectly fine with the "Good Children" killing all the "Bad Children" rather than wanting all his children to eventually resolve their differences and reunite. yes, there should be a war but i think it would be better if the conflict was resolved at the end with peace between the two factions…

Everyone knows the three conflicting origins of the Constructicons from the cartoon. But how about the Marvel comics' version of Optimus Prime? Note this is ignoring the "Orion Pax" origin from the cartoon and the "Optronix" origin from DW's "War Within". - Was Optimus Prime originally a regular soldier until the Autobot council decided to promote him to their military leader, and didn't meet Megatron before that point, as depicted in "And There Shall Come... a Leader"? - Was he originally one of the bodyguards of the Overlord and already knew Megatron, a former gladiator, at that point, as established in "State Games"? - Or did he get the Matrix from a dying Se…
