The Future Of Transformers ?

Yeah, but the series long story line makes it hard to follow.  How about a 52 episode show that has story arcs that only last for 2-4 episodes.   A nice little wrap up to that story and on to somthing different, the way the old who used to be.  Also, better story lines, no more dubbed cartoons. lets get stuff like Beast Wars back on the air.

I'd say that four thirteen-episode story arcs are doable, similar to the last two seasons of BW and the two seasons of BM.

I think most of the best plot points from Armada and Energon could have been distilled into about half as many episodes, as both of those series seemed to suffer from endless running around and pointless battles.

(I've only seen about ten Cybertron episodes so I can't comment on it's [if any] redundancy.)

Wait, you don't like long story lines, but you want BWs back on?  Hello, Kettle?

Beast wars had storylines that were one episode long. We got the friggin Transmutate figure from a one episoder.

You can have an ongoing story in an episodic series, BTW

Which was what happened in BW & BM.

The first season of BW featured way more "stand alone"-type episodes then the second or third season or BM does.

It almost has the feeling of fumbling around and trying to figure out what to do.  While the latter seasons seemed to be put into play with a definate story arc in mind.

:pfx (also)

1.  I'd like too see more beast, since ther taking a backseat again to veichle modes.  I don't mind that but some of them are uber ghey, like armada, I would rather of-had beast-bot then the bricks armada was.  ((its getting way better now, but cybertron needs more beast, since theres like a FRIGGIN PLANET CALLED ANIMAL PLANET, but that has nothing to do with this thread..))

2.  LESS STORIES FOCUSING ON UNICRON/PIMUS IT'S GETTING OLD!!!

3. More primes not named Optimus prime, and megatron not always being a leader.

4.  Myabe some starships?

5. More trains

6. Better combiners.

7. WAY better combiners

8.  Maybe get headmaster, victory and etc released?

9. Some super possiable ((not main line)) action masters

10. A better fan club

11.  What was the point of this list again?

12. My hands smell...

hmmmm well....

everybody's griping about the series only having 50 ish eps each but i kinda like it.  get fresh characters every other year, i realy like it.  maybe thats the anime fan part of me, but so sue me.

also, let's ditch this whole PC casting bullBlot, the few eps of cybertron i did watch where interupted with jetfire's austrailian accent and thundercrackers horrible whiny voice.  make the voices fit the characters.

NO MORE SWITCHING GENDERS!!!!!  Override should have remained a male character, i don't see how the female override is going to mesh well with the mannerisms of that character in the later eps, not to mention that it looks nothing like a fembot.

and while we're on the subject, NO MORE STUPID NAMES!!!  they should have left clocker as skids, and before somebody says something, not all the gf names are better but most of them are, exililion, autovolt, autolander, vangaurd team (As apposed to Cybertron Defense, how lame is that?), chromia, the list realy goes on.

hmmm what else... i like the g1 homages alot, esp the subtle ones in cyb/gf it's not all about the homages but it doesn't neglect old fans, realy it's a great blend of homages and doesn't over do it.

toys.... MORE ALTERNATORS!!!! heh heh, and less alt repaints!!!  geesh.

i'd like to see some good quality combiners too, i wasn't realy digging the energon combiners much, maybe bruticus but i didn't like the dev, and the new universe dev is lame too.

personaly, i'd like to see more g1 reissues domesticly released, and functional too, quit taking the springs out Afterburners.

MORE DIECAST!!!  it can't be that much more expensive to produce some diecast figures, at least give us some diecast Alts, costs an arm and a leg to import Blot.

also, just like i said with the series, whats with the retarded names, if you have to slap autobot or decepticon on the packaging like the reissues.

cut down on the repaints!!!  most of the repainted figures are of Blotty moulds anyway so why repaint them?

and for the love of god can we PLEASE get a real ultra magnus instead of a white Powerglideing prime?! same goes fore megs and galvatron, they are sperate characters and should have seperate moulds, repaints suck and even more so when they're leaders.

i'd like to see some realy good meg moulds too, cyb/gf was alright, not grand, but better than previous moulds.

one more grip before i stop.... LIGERJACK SHOULD HAVE BEEN A DELUXE!!!!!  when you're making toys that combine they should be scalled properly, the whole liger convoy/i don't know what he's called in cyb thing looks retarded.  if ligerjack would have been done properly i would have saved some money and bought both prime and him because it looked amazing in the cartoon

a bit of praise though, most of the beast moulds (backstop/seidos excluded) where realy good this time around.  i didn't like bw, the toys where retarded and i realy didn't like the show either.  i tend to dislike beastbots in general, but i realy like the ones from cybertron/gf, they look good in both forms and i'm even getting some whenever i finish my must haves.
