now i have some freinds who werent to happy with the tf movie because pretty much all the g1 tfs die, including optimus even though he comes back. i kind of felt the same way but it wasnt so bad b/c i really like hotrod and he remains one of my favorites. i recently received the headmasters, masterforce and victory dvd sets. im sure youve all seen them on ebay at least once. im not even halfway through headmasters and im mortified! optimus dies again. cybertron gets blown up. galvatron dies. rodimus, kup and blur reliquish power to cerebros(fort max) and like run away! wtf?! and if youve all seen rebirth (pretty much the end of the american g1 series) they introduced…

Hey everybody, Can someone suggest a reliable way of watching these shows? I don't care if they are fansubs, downloads or even raws. I feel like I've really been missing out on a big chunk of G1 by having never seen these. I'm hoping someone is kind enough to point me in the right direction on this one. Thanks a bunch!

Has anyone heard the dub job on these? Is it.... I guess I'm looking for "tolerable" Sure, I'd prefer them in the original Jap, but it's a convenient little trio. even if the dub is slightly dodgy. Hopefully. Maybe. So, are these tolerable, or the worst kind of extraordinarily bad dubs?

Headmasters and Targetmasters were raised on another thread and it got me thinking. I like Targetmasters alot. But, although I think many of the characters are ace (esp Scorpy and FortMax), the concept of Headmasters has always seemed weird to me. I mean, their head's come off their necks and transform in little men! Their Heads! Does anyone else think it's weird?

I recently recived thesebox sets Shipping took about 25 days, but that's what I expected considering the location. Once I opened then I founf the dvd's in plastic/cloth sleeves, the kind you get in a small cd storage case but I'm ok with that. The artwork for the box and the dvd's are all related to tf the movie. The Headmasters box set has the same cover picture as the U.S. version of the movie. The other two have movie related covers, and of course have nothing to do with Masterforce & Victory. If these are legit, that is a pretty good deal. I would just have to find a multi-region dvd player. Anyone got any info on these?

When I was a kid, you knew it was a real transformer by the heat rub sticker, you know the one that you rubbed to reveal his true allegence. What ever happened to those? Do the G1 Reissues have them? I think that's the only thing really missing from 20th Ann. Prime and the alternators. When did they stop doing those? :tfevil
