This month's issue of Toyfare (#116) has not only the covershot of Optimus Prime but has a good four page article discussing the toy's concept to the film and also showcases Optimus up close and personal with a few shots that give some reassurance to the toy. Also stated is that the toy's release date is June 2. One full month ahead of the movie. his rear wheelwells are not attached to his legs instead are attached to the back of his hips

Just picked this guy up tonight, to celebrate a bit of good news. My first impression: the same as Luke's opinion of the Millennium Falcon. Where's the back half of his waist? And I knew he had backpack issues, but 9/10 of the car mode is a bit much. I also knocked one of his "hip cables" loose trying to get a stable standing pose. I absolutely loved Bumblebee, so I had high hopes for Swipe. Anyone have suggestions to improve my enjoyment?

$620 already and look at the paint wear on the blue one. Too rich for my blood. http://cgi.ebay.com/G1-Japanese-Transforme...1QQcmdZViewItem

The main reason there is no Alternator Bumblebee is becuase Volkswagon said they wanted no "link to war", right? Unless this advert is fake, theyve just contradicted themselves in a way thats not even funny and perhaps MORE insulting to those suffering in war than by making a transforming robot toy: http://members.cox.net/frsandrat/SandRat/Terrorist%20VW.wmv

as weve all pretty much agreed the cybertron toy line is one of the best in recent years with some good molds but unfortunatly where hasbro made good with the figures they dropped the ball with the cartoon.ive had to wath nearly all mine online as the showing on tv has become a joke and im not impressed by it. they skipping and missordering of episodes its pathetic and pointless. it isnt that hard to put files in order if they are numbered personally i think its just lazyness. then they skip episodes how and why, surely they are made and distibuted in order so why not shown it makes it so hard for fans lik ep 30-33 we missed starscream getting his, megatron going ghost …

Whatever happened to the maximal base that was eventually founded at the ark's crash site. As a volcanic eruption is what unearthed the ark and reactivated teletan-1, is it possible such an eruption destroyed the only evidence of the Maximal's war? What is everyone else's take on this?

What movie toys did you see at the store, not buy, and now can't find anywhere and wish you had purchased? I saw a half dozen Bumblebee vs Barricade Wal-mart exclusives once and wish I had picked one up. Haven't seen any since. That was early June.

Transmetals 2 Cheetor is the ugliest freaking robot of all time. Seriously.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWjXcmBjJXg&feature=player_embedded My god...its WAY better than I didnt think it would be... Anyway the good part of it starts after the kids intro and after Prime's narrative.
