  1. After finishing my Alternators Prowl, I thought he needed a buddy, so I wanted to make Red alert. I think a lot of people made G1 Red alert, so I'm taking a crack at one of my favorite Armada toys...Red alert. I have already removed the blue from Wheeljack...and that looks pretty cool on its own, but I disassembled most of him, and some of his parts are in the painting process. I just thought I'd post my preliminary and dirty photoshop to give you guys an idea of what he will look like.Â

  5. Started by Dark_Lord_Prime,

My local comic shop also sells video games and consoles, among other things like DVDs and books. One day, I was there to get my weekly comics, and noticed they had two first-generation GameBoys for $3 each, and I was suddenly struck with a Real Gears inspiration, so I bought 'em both. :D My first step was to measure one of the GB's, then create a cardboard mock-up, so I can work out the transformation and positioning of parts. Next, I had to figure out what to use for various parts, such as legs and arms, etc. Bionicles to the rescue! After some experimentation, I've decided my best bet for his legs are "beast-type" (hey, it worked for Dropkick!), as sh…

NOW ON EBAY! This was my submission to the Vector Tribute over at TFW2005 boards. As usual, check out my blogger (click sig banner) to see more and larger pics) Anway, here he is.... He was painted 100% with enamels, you can see how nice enamel metallics come out. The white is a extremely hig…

  7. I wanted to call this "Michael Baywing - :awsum AWESOMATED! :awsum " Perhaps it's best I didn't... In a dramatic turnaround from the beginning of my last guide, Animated Blitzwing actually IS flooding retail now, so plenty of you can follow along and do this mod. It is by no means as essential as the wing modification, but who doesn't want Blitzwing to have pivoting shoulder cannons in just six easy steps? Several of you, but that's just the law of averages. :grr This time around I've got the usual extras, like a fix to a widespread issue that some of you might not even realize is there, another wing modification that I'm kind of iffy about, and moar o…

Still a lot of work to do. The trailer is a 1/43 model, fits well with Prime. My plan is to make a base for my two spychangers and add some technological stuff. I will custom Prime, too, adding parts from the truck model. Comments welcome. :wave Check the new wheels. They look better than the original ones, don't you think so?

  10. Started by Khan,

So, I bought an oversized knockoff Bruticus on eBay, and decided that the garish paint job had to go. While I repainted it, I also painted an Arcee into an evil Arcee. And when I took the pictures, I decided to take pictures of the original G2 Megatron job I did. The paint is Model Masters Titanium, Magnesium, and Black Pearl, with a Testors black, silver, and gold marker for details. I used the silver to highlight the edges to make it look like aged metal, and generally erred on the side of whatever took the least time rather than correctness. Then I convinced myself it was Artistic. :thumb The Bruticus and Arcee models ended up cracking and having other pro…
