So, I bought an oversized knockoff Bruticus on eBay, and decided that the garish paint job had to go.  While I repainted it, I also painted an Arcee into an evil Arcee.  And when I took the pictures, I decided to take pictures of the original G2 Megatron job I did.

 

The paint is Model Masters Titanium, Magnesium, and Black Pearl, with a Testors black, silver, and gold marker for details.  I used the silver to highlight the edges to make it look like aged metal, and generally erred on the side of whatever took the least time rather than correctness.  Then I convinced myself it was Artistic.  :thumb

 

The Bruticus and Arcee models ended up cracking and having other problems with the paint that Megatron didn't have; I'm not sure if that's because of the materials, if I just got lucky with Megatron, or if I put too thick a coat of paint on.  But anyway, please ignore the places where the original colors show through. :roll
