OverRide's sex change???

Recommended Posts

I just Got OverRide and Im not happy with her, is there anyway to give her a "makeover"???  You know just some cosmetic work:  Her lips, Hips, waist( well whole torso) and legs.  Anyone have anyidea on how to "improve"  these areas????

Any suggestions would be most welcomed

sure:

get some photots of women (ads from lane bryant or victoria's secret will do) and study them. then just round off and thin out those parts that are too blocky and masculine.

Problem is..extensive changes may make the mold unable to do what it does...transform.

Paint her up.

Airrazor was male in Japan and she still looked good in plastic.

I know. That just occured to me.

If anyone can provide pics, I may be able to work a way out to make the mods.

Airrazor was male in Japan.

WThell!!!?????

i never knew thaT!!! OMG... i CANNOT imagine a male dominant voice coming out of airrazor's voice coils!!! it's just... she got dem rounded boobie chests!!!  just WRONG!!! and um... ain't her legs a bit slender to be MALE???

WTH???

what's with the trans-gender flop between USA and Japan?  :redface

In Japanese culture (last I checked), Homosexuality is understood and accepted, which gave no problems to make Airrazor and Tigertron both male.

Here in the States and Canada, a show aimed towards children isn't the right demographic related item to be showing such themes. So she was turned female, just the same as Override in Cybertron.

Ironic thing is the show was created in Canada, and she was originally intended to be female (as the finished product shows)...so I'm guessing it was Japan that turned her male. Perhaps they think all the machines should be male? Which that theory wouldn't work either...Black Arachnia and Arcee were clearly female, so is Chromia.

See how confusing it is?

Now correct me if I'm wrong on that, but that's what I've been told and read.

The answer is simple, the dubbing studio for the BW show in Japan had some translation errors and a poor communication between Takara & Hasbro it seems. Plus the rommance between Tigattron & Airazor was more evident until Season 2, wich aired too late in Japan

By the time they noticed this, it was too late to fix the problem

I'll give you that.

No one was turned.  They were intended to be female all along.

No, they turned Airrazor male because they felt at the time a female transformer amongst the good guys wouldn't be profitable.  In Japan, the good guys outsell the bad guys.

See how confusing it is?

Yeah, it should have been left alone.

Now correct me if I'm wrong on that, but that's what I've been told and read.

Like I said, Airrazor started as a female and was changed in the translation.  That changed had more to do with marketing than culture.

I'm sorry but when I look at overdrive I see a cool young male bot in the same vein as HotShot. With a less appealing body shape. If Alt Tracks or Windcharger's mold was used for a Female, I'd believe that more than this bot.

It's cool that they gave us a new female TF but.......
